So, after a little research, i've managed to find WilowEngine.ini inside of Coalesced_INT.bin, and the only settings worked with it is removing black outlines and fxaa enabling. All other settings overpassed with configuration.psp2path file, hidden inside main game binary, and for now i cannot access it, due to unable on geting inside of a eboot.bin. Also, some guy on 4pda said there is nothing to do with cutted engine capabilities even of we'll be able to access eboot.bin.
So, as there in not even a single screenshot from Maverick81PL, info about graphic changes looks like a fake from this point.
:(

First you have to decrypt *.xxx files then manage to crop *.ini file from WillowGame file ;-)
It's Unreal Engine so decrypting is easy (The same we have on PC in any Unreal Engine Game)
What version of the game are you running? Should this work on the decrypted 1.9 mai dump of bl2?

Oh.. sorry man.
Dangerous modding so.. but i still want to try out things, could you give us a more detailed options, which files should be changed to bring back some effects? WillowEngine.ini cant make it work, something overrides most of the config lines, only fxaa and black outlines can be configured there. What else must be modified to make changes work?
Thanks

Anybody still poking around on this? I used psvimgtools to decrypt my backup and I found this thread while looking around for info on the .xxx files. If somebody has already had some success, I'd rather not reinvent the wheel!

Cheers :)

Nope, fake thread, not even a screenshot with upgraded graphics, i've looked into game files, Coalesced_INT.bin can be extracted with Xcom Android Tools, and inside of it the file NGP_WillowEngine can be modified to obtain anisitropic filtering and to switch post-processing mode (to remove black outlines, just the same way as we can do it on the PC version), and that is all, all other changes doesn't affect anything else.
Some Vita specific changes been made to binary, as we can see through size-verifier file NGPTOC.txt - binary contains additional config set, located on /Binaries/NGP/configuration.psp2path

That does sound useful though? Is there any sort of performance boost by disabling the outlines, minor or not, like on the PC version?

I've also been trying (not very hard really) to figure out if I can get my Vita save converted for use on the PC, as I wanted to play Tiny Tina's.

Cheers

I modified the Coalesced_INT.bin file, but it changes nothing

i replaced "WillowScenePostProcess "by "RyanScenePostProcess"

There are two config files in game. One is for game, second is for DLC. Turning off celshading on vita will do nothing. Turn on static shadows and change down resolution. This will fix your game ;-)
You can also turn on better lighting but do NOT turn on HDR! This fry my vita :-(

And again: Im not posting any screenshots because my Vita in cook, fry is broken!

Which files, so? Advantages you are talking about are too good to be ignored)

You should change Coalesced_INT.bin file size in NGPTOC.txt after making changes.

There are a few more settings that worked for me by manually hex editing the Coalesced_INT.bin. I recently tried downloading the xcom exctracting tools that I found. I got it to extract, but I don't know how to repack/encrypt the file back to a .bin file. I would like to know how you guys did it? thanks in advanced.

I wonder if there is any way you could modify the control bindings in such a way to incorporate the use of the ds3vita and ds4vita plugin by xerpi.

Hi
Which changes? Could you upload your coalesced file or tell us which lines that you changed?
I tried many settings but without success (change FOV, remove black outlines, remove cell shading, reduce texture quality)
