Just wondering- does this still work properly?
It still works, but it's no longer being actively maintained. You can however setup Luma3DS on your CTRNAND, then setup a lockscreen that way

Although it's a lot more basic looking compared to this project. It's still an option if you don't want to be limited to A9LHV2

I tried following the installation guide from the repo linked, but it doesn't have any of the required files- neither any of the payloads, nor the /3dsafe directory. Am I missing something?
The OP is out of date, the updated version should be a couple of pages back...

Thanks! I was also asking on Reddit (that was me), so thanks for uploading!

EDIT: Also, what's supposed to be in the /3dsafe folder? It would suck to have 3DSafe installed only to find that some required file is missing on the SD card.

Anyone try this latest build yet? Edit, seems like I may have this already installed as I can bypass with otp, Is the main difference, no charters are displayed when entering pin?

also anyone using 3dsafe with shadownand? Are the same protections in lace that exits for luma when using this ver of arm9?

Thanks for your post, are you sure this is A9LHV2? I was under the impression that this was later than that.. More reading done, seems that later versions are mainly to be able to boot without payload but given the nature of this project, later version of arm9 would be counter productive. Good to know though:)

This would replace shadowNAND and I also suggest not using ShadowNAND anymore since it's also really out of date.
And this is a fork of ShadowNAND, which IIRC, was based on A9LHv2. I could be wrong, things may have updated. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

ah thanks, sorry, minor correction, i meant to say saltfw instead of shadownand, nevertheless, i believe this fork of arm9 was branched off of shadownand as of July 1st.

ShadowHand actually released a nightly that works on the CTRNAND. Which is basically now the best way to get a more up to date ShadowNAND.

To clarify- I just put this in the A9LH folder and boot safea9lhinstaller, right?
