cards that big go wacky on the 3ds if you don't start with a ton of data already on the card. Fill it up with about 60GB, and you should be golden.so any idea what i can do, because i doubt it is a Fake Micro SD Card, the seller on Ebay who sold it to me had a high rating.
ok i got a plan, i'll say screw it to my o3DS' SD Card, and remove all the games on it, and i'll download the games there, and when the SD Card is full, i'll transfer them to my 128GB SD Card.
They both accept sds bigger than 32GB. I'm not sure where DerpDude got his info from.
what i mean is use an other Micro SD Card i have (64GB), download the games through freeshop (via my New 3DS) once the 64GB Micro SD Card is full, transfer the games over to the 128GB Micro SD Card. The o3ds won't recognize it any better than n3ds. You have to just throw some big files on it from your computer if you don't have any. Just fill it up to 60GB, you can delete them later.
Okay, i thought i saw it somewhere but i dont recall where so i thought i was imagining thingsThey both accept sds bigger than 32GB. I'm not sure where DerpDude got his info from.

Info's been parroted on the forums too.
only problem is i would hate to remove all the old games from my Old 3DS, unless i could use an 8GB Micro SD Card. hmmOh, good idea!
I know what Nintendo says, but actually you will find tons of posts of people confirming that the large cards work if you look.

Good to know but drop the trolly "use the search shit". I have looked and plenty of people recite the wrong information.
why couldnt anyone tell me to fill it up to 60GB before?cards that big go wacky on the 3ds if you don't start with a ton of data already on the card. Fill it up with about 60GB, and you should be golden.
My guess is that when most people got cards that big, they already had a ton of data to transfer (probably natural progression from 16 - 32 - 64 - 128) So they never experienced what happens when you start with a blank sd that large.why couldnt anyone tell me to fill it up to 60GB before?
well let me hope i can get this working before DQ8 re-releases, loved the game on PS2, i wonder if this will be an improved port?My guess is that when most people got cards that big, they already had a ton of data to transfer (probably natural progression from 16 - 32 - 64 - 128) So they never experienced what happens when you start with a blank sd that large.

i seem to still be having trouble with Luma3DS on this other SD Card.Only negative that I've seen is that the shader/lighting engine is not nearly as good. I doubt the game will really be significantly different.

having to replace all the Luma files each time i want to boot to the 3DS' Menu like it forget the files. What's the issue?

in order to use my N3DS (ever since i used Luma3DSupdater) ive had to, remove arm9loaderhax.bin and add a new arm9loaderhax.bin after every reboot. What do you mean by that? "replace all the luma files", like the payloads and config file? Or do you mean the options when you start luma? If you don't have a config file on your sd, then luma will make you create a new one when you start your 3ds.
