i also used the special character option in the player names. the umbrella appears as a question mark in game, and the cloud appears as the amiibo logo

Both the red and purple icons should automatically choose your AC:NL game (it fails for a few people giving them a Missing target error, in that case, you can use save_manager or svdt and choose manually your AC:NL). The red icon/save_manager requires A to be pressed to dump. The purple icon/svdt dumps it automatically.

Okay well I don't actually see different color icons. With the download "acnl_save_manager.zip" from the instructions page I only have SVDT and Save Manager. And in neither I can select ACNL.
Did I download the wrong file? Where do I find the one you're talking about?

Hello Marc! I'm a user of your ACNL editor. First of all, thanks for your job with the editor, it's a wonderful tool
Fine, I have some sugestions. I think that it will be fantastic that we will complete furniture catalog, as we can with bugs, fish...
Other suggestion is on the money tool. I think that it will be better if we could choose the amount of bells that we want. Because now if we want bells, only can have the maximum bells.

I fixed my problem by using JKSM to extract the save data.

My friend says there's about six items missing... Not sure which ones they are, though. Good-luck Charm and Spa Chair are two of them, according to my friend.

Good-Luck Charm is there, I saw it in the bug section, weirdly.

I own a legitimate one, so I could check if it's the right item.

I believe those are the music box versions.
