Yes I did this 3 times and third times the charm it worked, you just have to keep wiping your save and retrying each time it corrupts
Did some tinkering and indeed it's a saviine bug, and I've found a workaround not to trigger that bug to make Hyrule Warrior DLC work.
After 3 attempts I managed to get my save working + DLC, just keep trying untill it works without error
Latest 1.1b, You can try and use JimmyZ's workaround but it isnt anymore effective than trying over and over
There is a bug in Saviine that can not inject large files. Says in the OP of the Saveiine thread and on Github.
The better fix may be to do what JimmyZ said. Saveinne could add an option to inject or clean and inject the save folder like the common folder.
Then you could inject just the AOC content without trying to inject the whole save. The original game save would be left alone.

saviine with one line of code commented out so it won't clean out you user save directory before injection, if anyone else wants to try. it could be an GUI option but I'm lazy.
and another question, I can't get sports club to work, I even dumped the save to verify the injection, any thoughts?

Yeah, I kinda forgot to mention that just injecting the save into the game folder would wipe the game if you did not backup first. Editing OP now.
Thanks I hope my icon captured the essence of Aoc Patcher :-P it's quite crude but we can't even feint "only for use with your own backups" lol
As long as the DLC files will fit in the save folder limit (can be found under data management) it should work just fine
Not quite. AocPatcher is hard coded for the games it states work with it. As it behaves differently for each game as to if it can be injected into common or 8000000X.
I did not feel like scanning the save folders to find where or what is in there. People are free to fork the code and do what they want with it.

What I want: To be able to turn on the wii u, start the game and have the dlc without going through the homebrew launcher.
What I did:
I put the .elf provided by KevinX8 on my apps (the 003 version, as that is the position my profile is in the wii u account menu).
I downloaded the smash dlc with FunKiiU-2.2.
I put the dlc on SD:\wiiu\games\Super Smash Bros. for Wii U [10144f]\0005000010144F00\aoc0005000c10144f00
I started saviine1.1b and dumped my save to my pc.
I started AOC Patcher.

1, you need to run aoc patcher everytime wii u powered up, so you have to go through homebrew launcher anyway
2, you put the aoc folder in the wrong place, read OP for the correct location
3, for SSB no need for saviine dump/inject since aocpatcher has DLC on SD for it
4, I don't think user id is "position" of your profile, look at your saviine dump, should be there, but this is irrelevant for SSB, again since it don't need save injection.
Thanks for the quick reply! I thought that this perma installed the dlc. How is this more useful than the SDcafiine solution I have right now? I have all the smash dlc, but I need to run the SDcafiine every time I turn on the console. Anyway, this is not for me then. Gonna have to wait until cold booting and rednand get to be polished.
