Is the IOS 31 patch Necessary to use riiconnect24? or it can be used by only adding the DNS addresses?

You should apply the IOS 31 Patch because it patches the RSA Key, which is used to sign files.
It's a WAD you patch.
And will it be possible to use it just by patching a file without a specific DNS server (like Wiimms competition mode patch does it)?

Hello everyone! Due to the great amount of inactivity (in the dev chat at least) I have decided to leave RiiConnect24, but don't worry! I will continue to pay the domain and might help with some PHP and Java projects.
i got the patcher, and ran the .bat file but...
I'm now bumped. i got a .wad file, now what? (sorry, i'm a newb on using .wad files, since i only used nintendont and emulators on the homebrew channel)
