Very close, try moving the Released text to the right by a couple of pixels. The l in released should lineup with the center of the E in Earthbound. Same with the 2nd 9 and the d at the end of EarthboundI'm using ImageMagick, the script uses these arguments:
-pointsize 13 -kerning 0.5 -interword-spacing 6 -interline-spacing 2 for title and release
I've changed them to:
-pointsize 14 -kerning 1 -interword-spacing 6 -interline-spacing 2 for title
-pointsize 14 -kerning 1.5 -interword-spacing 6 -interline-spacing 6 for release
This was the result:
Thank you much appreciated.Updated OP again, this time including a separate version without bottom screen output.

Bummer. No love for *nix users. I hate how a lot of 3DS tools are coded in .NET.Instructions on how to make your own custom CIAs are inside the release archive.
Most of the proccess is totally automated and should be user-friendly, including banner and icon creation. (There's a batch script to generate all the files needed for the banner. No need to waste time with image editing, just run the .bat then import the generated files with Ohana3DS which btw is also included.)
Two things that I love:
1. It doesn't much seem to care about the size of the images...just kinda works.
2. It uses standard SNES emulator saves so I can just move my existing save files to the proper folder and keep right on playing.
multiplayer suport?
