About Moonshell Vista 3.0

A note from the skin creator.

First off, wasn't sure if the R4 board was the best place to put this. Although, if nothing else, U made the teheme to entirely match the Simply Vista theme. Hopefully this is the best forum for this skin.

Wow, been a long time coming, but it was a needed update. Moonlight has added so many awesome skinning features to Moonshell, that it would be stupid to not update Moonshell Vista. This new version includes a really nice animated splash screen; one of the first that I've seen released for use on Moonshell. You can see a preview for that here. Aside from that, there are new transparent image file cursors, an updated glassy look, updated text reading background, new backgrounds to match other recent Vista skins, and more. I would recommend using this with the latest version of Moonshell in order for all the new features to work properly. Hopefully you like this as much as I do. I look forward to reading feedback and comments. Enjoy.

These skins are great! Thanks a lot man.

P.S. I'm sorry if this seems obvious but I've noticed that the font is slightly different from previous versions. I haven't tried Moonshell 1.71 out of the box so I was wondering if this was maybe your work.

Nope, I didn't change the font. I made the previews myself though, so it is not actually using a Moonshell font, but rather a font I found on my computer that looks similar.

Thanks for the comments.

Very nice job. Top notch, once again.

I'm still voting for Drop. I usually fall back to that one on the main R4 menu too. There's just something soothing about it.

Love the skins but I think we need to axe the vista logo, replace it with a DS or the double square logo

just a thought as its my only reason not to use these awesome skins

I think "drop" is the best

heres my suggestion for a vista logo replacement

^^^ that's actually not a bad idea; I love the backgrounds of the skins, but I'm not the biggest Microsoft fan, so I'd also prefer a DS logo of somesort. Either way, amazing work sir.

I'm having troubles getting this to work with the EZ-V. Shouldn't it work seeing as it's just a moonshell skin? I have a bunch of missing images.
