Personally I prefer gba virtual console injection. It plays gba games perfect, without any problems, glitches or something else.

If you think gba injection is to dark: turn up the light to 5 in system settings. Then it will be just perfect!

What do you think?

for n3ds,there is no reason to use the shitty gba inject, gpsp always run at full speed, and the graph is
fairly shaper.

I somewhat disagree I have a N3DSXL and some games like Pokemon Emerald drop to 50-55 FPS when in double battles or using the bike but run flawlessly with AGB_FIRM.

The 'shitty gba inject' runs GBA native on 'real' GBA hardware, no emulator will reach that level of perfection ever. Yes they (could) have awesome features and come really close to the real hardware, but it is still not the 'real' thing.

I would wish there would be an option to launch GBA games always unscaled (so you don't have to hold the select button when launcing the game)

And a border with the device shown like with the Gameboy VC games would be really nice, but I guess that's impossible :(..

I can't stand 1:1 on the big XL screen and retro arch layers a filter of it to smooth the jaggies out. Some like jaggies- that's ok. I can deal with it on nes games but not gba.

50-55?I haven’t tried to play double battle with pokemon, but have you set sound driver to CSND & nearest?
Also, keep in mind to use cia version.

The only filter make gpsp.cia slow down is the Phosphor2x one.

I use my DSTwo+. It works great. I don't like having all my GBA games in CIAs on emuNAND and sysNAND.
^ This. I'm still in fear to install something into my SysNAND and I'd like to keep it as clean as possible

Otherwise, how does GPSP run on O3DS (the CIA version)? Am I able to play Pokémon games decently or

save state+acceleration.

Tried all the ways, when runs good/perfectly, don't have theses options. When have options, don't run good/have incompatible games.

I think like this as well. Yes, gpSP is fullspeed or near fullspeed on most games on the n3ds. But even though it is fullspeed the emulation sometimes is choppy and not perfect..

@AncientBoi, Yeah, believe you can do PSP games as well. But a Pi5 is much powerful in comparison.

Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.

    I dread the price point.

This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

    To me that seems reasonable.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150
