Hey, I've been using gameyob 0.5 on my DSTT card and encountered a few problems:
The first time I put my rom and .sav files on my card, I can play them and load my savegames as usual.
But when I save trough gameyob (ingame savefunction) and exit/reset the game (or restart the system) these files become corrupted.
I don't have this problem while using lameboy (I can save my game and load them afterwards)
Also, the reset function (L+R+start+select) shuts down/crashes the system

I prefer using gameyob because of its customizability (the borders and buttonmapping) and sound performance (the difrent channels and additional audio in games like pokemon yellow)

For me any version of it does including freezing when switching from game to game on a DSTwo.
What system you using? I use it in my Jap. N3DS and my US N3DS XL. Only problems I've hit is the crashing on returning to DSTwo launcher. All of my firmware and stuff are 100% up to date.

Maybe it has something to do with which DS system you're using (original, lite, old 3DS) or maybe your SD card was improperly formatted.

I am on a o3dsxl with 4.2 sysnand firmware. gameyob doesnt freeze or anything like that on a r4igold3ds so it might be a issue with it running on a supercard dstwo. Also tried it on a ds lite that i have with the same results.

Could be a problem with DSTwo. Mine works on everything I've tried. I wonder if the crash on returning to DSTwo menu is a DSTwo specific issue or if R4 cards and such have the same problem. Don't have an R4 so I wouldn't know.

Hello, first of all sorry for my english and thank you for your great emulator.

EDIT: By the way gameyob DSTwo plugin from gbatemp wiki is corrupted and doesn't works. I made my own using the following: (gameyob.bmp is the lameboy plugin icon)
Code:
[plug setting]
icon=fat1:/_dstwoplug/gameyob.bmp
name=GAME BOY
I don't know if it is causing my issues but I don't think so.

there's your solution. from this very same thread. try the search button sometime. it helps a LOT.

IDK if anyone can help me. I'm having a problem activating cheats (GameShark) in GameYob. I have the .CHT file but it afterI boot up gameyob and the game, and the cheat, it says No Cheat or Missing Cheat File. Is there a certain folder that I must put th .CHT file in order the cheat to work? TT^TT

if I were him, I'd read the first post. but, since I'm a nice guy, I'll ask him if the game's cht file has the same name as the rom. let's say my rom is named 123. then, my cheat file for that game must be named 123 as well

Same name like the rom name. :(
Yes for example:123.gbc which is your rom
your cheat file would be 123.cht
and also make sure your codes are in the cht file like this:

010F15C2 0Infinite Gut Points
010FF6C1 0INF HP P1
010FF7C1 0INF HP P1
010FF8C1 0INF HP P1
016375D0 0Infinite AldownerG

those came from my monster rancher gbc cht file

so you guys mean that, after the gameshark codes there will be 1 space and 1 (to activate) or 0 (to deactivate) then the name of the code? Am I right?
