yeah nintendo are appealing to the brain dead "NEW" 3DS, smash bros "FOR 3DS", smash bros "FOR WII U"....please understand
even Wii U was one of the worst names for marketing ever, most people that arent gamers still think wiiu is just a gamepad for the wii lol.

but is it SSB5....n64 = ssb1, gamecube = ssb2, wii = ssb3, 3ds = ssb4.....and wiiu would be ssb5 :P

I've never played any SSB games on any platform, this for the wii u is the first and I though I may as well try the game as I bought it for loadiine... I'm sorry it really is a bag of shit.

I was thinking along the lines of the first time that Smash Brothers "for Wii U :P" is loaded it allows us to bypass some restrictions like Region Coding. Maybe if Loadiine loaded the edited backup, as some security checks have already been done it may not check that the size of the .rpx/.rpl files are signed/correct as they have already passed the checks for that game so it would just reload them.

yeah i think for that stuff we need iosu, basically loadiine is a rather sneaky way around iosu by highjacking a real game and using its given permissions to load up something else....crude but fairly effective

that's not to say the idea couldn't be built on and there isn't some other sneaky tricks that can be done to wiggle around iosu a bit further, but that would be something dev's would have to look into :)

Could anyone get The Lego Video Game to extract properly? I tried UWizard but it does not seem to extract the .wud file right I wondered if anyone else had success with it? all it seems to do is extract the cert, tmd files? I might be doing something wrong?

yes, but I found a solution and posted it here:

to answer my own question - DiscU is buggy and can't handle certain .wud files.
the generic iso extractor of vgmtoolbox can be used to extract those images - WII U images require 'ckey.bin' in the vgmtoolbox\external\wiiu directory, and 'disckey.bin' in the same directory as the source .wud image file.

I've already tried vgmtoolbox, it just extracts the same folders as UWizard did. Which one did you use it the tools to extract it? did you just use ISO extractor?

I used "Misc. Tools" -> "Extraction Tools" -> "Generic" -> "ISO/Archive Extractor"

IMG wont show but whatever I try to unpack it with I just get the same files. The .wud file is not corrupt so it can't be that unless its just not correct in the first place. Its not just this one I'm having issues with also Batman as well.

Lego Marvel USA worked for me with Uwizard, and works in Loadiine. Not sure about other versions.

Got home about an hour ago from work and Smash Brothers was waiting for me YAY! I've now bit the bullet and updated to 5.3.2 from 3.1.0

Couple of problems:

1) Everything is working fine if I load the files from eclipsesin site but won't work by self loading from my own site, do I need to forward any ports to self host?
2) I'm having the same issue as this: https://gbatemp.net/threads/the-definitive-guide-to-wii-u-hacking.396828/page-11#post-5710252

Tried 2 different SD Cards, a 32GB and a 64GB and get the error with both every time. Anyone any ideas?

I've noticed that I need to click my shortcut several times on the WiiU now before the actual page will load. Sometimes it's the same for the exploit links too.

Sounds like this could have been a bad download or dump issue. Did you get any errors when unzipping the WUD file? If those errors show up, I'd recommend re-downloading the specific file that shot the error as it will cause a bad dump.

The page is loading fine self hosted, the Wii U just freezes and stays frozen :(

As for the dump all the hashes matched with everything so it can't be that. The game loads and runs fine but as soon as it tries to save it throws that "199-9998" error...

Did you allow the files through AV/Firewall? I know on my router it has some extra scanning available for virus detection so I had to disable that for the payloads to run correctly in addition to the exceptions.
