Hey guys! First of all, I'm really sorry if I shouldn't have created a new thread for this but I asked in "
Blocking Update Servers - Clarification Needed" and didn't get an answer yet and I was really

in need of one.

I'm trying to block all the IP's on my router but I'm having a lot of trouble! I think I am at the right place on my router's hub, I added all the IP's and hosts listed here but when I go to my Wii U, it starts updating! I'm on 5.0 and I wanna take care of this before Nintendo releases some sort of patch. There is an option called "Protocol" on the screenshot I took of my router's hub and I was wondering if that plays an important role in all of this! (Even though it is in Portuguese, I think you guys can understand)

Any help would be truly appreciated! I tried to add the screenshot here, hope it worked!

Hi,

if you can't block all the port's try blocking port 80 (HTTP or maybe all of the HTTP Ports in your List). Check afterwards if it's enough, I'm not sure...
It should say start downloading and then say download failure (marked with an X) in your WiiU Download section.

Block only port 80? That screenshot I took is from a tab called "Access control" and at first I thought it was about traffic that was going inside my network but it's actually the opposite: that page is to block certain IP's or hosts to be access from within. Is there any other way to get around it? By using ports or some sort of program that can help me manage my connection? Hope I explained my problem correctly, it's not always easy to speak in English.

Like I said block http, http secondary and http web access in all the balanced URLs. Try to See if it works afterwards.
