Could be the cheats interfering but if you do not have any active should not

check you recovery and advanced turn of high memory and ISO cache try again and do a scan and repair on MS maybe bad block on it could cause these problems as well

Turn off* high memory and iso Cache?

edit: i went to the Recovery menu and selected advance, and the "force high memory layout" or what have you, is disabled allready, and the ISO cache option is not available?

Yea those setting may make games run faster but on some model PSP and some games causes problems

FYI never have both on at once for sure they will cause problems conflict

Inferno & NP9660 use ISO cache that is in advanced for PRO

One last thing maybe your UMD is going bad as well or not rip something just a guess their could even be the drive going bad

i just tried the options you told me and ran a quick "death" run and the problem persists.

the UMB going bad might be it too, or it could be simply a psp 2000 problem?

Yea I should put the ISO I have on my Full CFW PSP and try it out it is a 2001 model but wonder why it would work on my GO model and my 3g 3000 but not that

I am also using PRO-C6.60 CW. I am not going to be able to try to fix this bug unless I can reproduce it. I also have CWCheat installed and have no crashes at game over. I am on a PSP-3000. I have no access to other versions of the PSP.

Can you try your ISO on PPSSPP emulator?

If it crashes, you might not have a clean ISO. Also you can copy your save file from the PSP-2000 and run it in PPSPP.

I will try the emulator in the future, i do not have access to the USB Cord at the moment but i will update in the future when i am able.

Once you do hook up to PC your PSP and do a scan and repair on MS maybe bad blocks on MS is causing it and I tried on my 2001 works fine for me no crash game over works go's back to new game load game screen

BTW this is looking good nice work

I'm pretty sure that IMYs are handled now. I finished up recompression (not really, since the recompression is fake) and added a command line interface.

So, I've done some looking around and the only changes I can find are the addition of Fenrich and Valvatorez as bonus bosses and Petta's Story. Are there any other changes to this (new bosses, new mechanics, new classes, etc) ?

Nah, they hadn't added TOO much to Phantom Kingdom Portable. The biggest part was definitely Petta's storyline, but on the other hand, Makai Kingdom had a fairly decent range of extra playable characters and bonus bosses, so they probably didn't have much room to add other than the new scenario.

Is there any chance I could get the English script you're using for the Petta Mode translation for this ? I've played a little bit of Petta mode so far and almost every screen seems to have minor problems with phrase structure, the meaning is still clear to me but it sounds wrong or words are in the wrong form. I'd be happy to give it a once over.

also..do i get something to unlock in main game by doing petta story earlier? and how i get valvatorez?

I like the script... a few quick questions about it...

Do you know who did the translation for this? Did the translator give permission to us this?

Also do you know how they did it? Either directly from the game using the PKP Toolkit? I need to know how to match up lines since I do not know Japanese well enough.
