If you don't have the funds, and you would rather play DS games than Xbox games, then sell the Xbox and buy the DS.
That was what I did, since my Xbox was collecting dust..I sold it off to a friend and used that money to buy a DS Lite.

Man, don't believe the hype. People tend to exaggerate problems, ESPECIALLY on the net. I've had my DSL for a couple months now. That shits been dropped a good 10 times. I've opened and closed the hinged hundreds of times by now and guess wat......NO CRACK!!! Don't let this stuff stress you out man. Go to the store and cop that shit. You'll be happy you did. The majority of the cracked hinged out there are most likely from careless owners anyway. Take care of it right and you should be good to go
Oh you are selling your xbox? I dunno then, I'd recommend you save up money instead of cashing out what you already have.
Grass is always greener on the otherside and the DSL isn't half as awesome if you don't spend the extra cash on a supercard/GBA movie player so you can use it as a mp3 player/watch movies.
Its a tough call...i'd recommend keeping your x-box if you have friends come play it with you alot. Or if all your friends play tetris or something on ds's I'd go with it.

Just do some chores for people. $100 (what your xbox would go for) isn't that hard to make if yer livin at home with the padres.

Whoa thanks Topsy I'm gonna try that out. Can you make a new post just dedicated to fixing the loose screen problem? I'm sure lots of folks would appreciate it and this way they don't have to troll this post for the guide
