FIX94 - I have an idea with games with 2 discs.. can you make a little menu in options games to select disc1 or disc2, and IF is possible that wiiflow can detect 2 disc with the same id and just present 1 cover not 2 covers for 2 discs of the same game... and the icon of the disc drive on the main screen is not working.
Thanks.. Good job...!!!!!

Onanghy...
What Wii games require 2 discs? I have over 1200 and I don't remember any being on 2 discs.
not wii games.. gamecube games... eg. Resident Evil, Splinter Cell.... and others.. is just an idea...

thanks..
Ah, thanks... forgot about GC support since I don't use it.

Just a minor detail I noticed in r548 (I'm about to move up to r556) is that when you press B on he favorites icon for the specific game to set the categories for it, the banner stops playing and when you come back out it doesn't start. I'm not sure it it should but when you access that same menu through the settings game-specific settings icon the banner autozooms as a background while it simply stops for the B-on-favorites shortcut.

Far more minor detail that I'm sure could be fixed in themes but transparency on the settings buttons when there's a banner playing in the background makes them hard to see. I remember someone posting previously that the combination of the text color and the color of certain banners makes them hard to see as well. It would be NICE if the banners could be darkened when being used as a background to improve visiblilty in menus.

here you go..http://www.mediafire.com/?jyjw1kjb2djg8dy just unzip file, replace/rename the old files, an move these over. in the mplayer app folder. let me know what you think. going to start playing with background png for the plug in after my son is done playing lego batman 2..
Yea that's a pretty massive improvement over the plain ol' black and white that used to be!

Seriously this is very nice and makes it so much more enjoyable to be in mplayer. Many thanks, that little app has been due for a graphical uplift for quite some time lol.

@MassiveRican
Thank you for the PM :)
So actually, you have a game logo and a background with and without logo
Aspect ratio is 4:3
If you want to use my wads as template:
1. Replace Banner/MenuScreen1.tpl with your backgound+logo
2. Replace Icon/IconImage.tpl with the game logo
3. Replace LogoChan.tpl (NGC logo) with the Wii logo (for Wii games): here's one custom made:
by9w0.png

4. make the wad and extract the banner (showmiiwads extract to folder and rename 00000000.app to id3.bnr)
5. place the banner in wiiflow\custom_banners folder
Done

P.S. You might need to adjust the background to 16:9 ratio by cropping (you can read my tutorial if u wish) in case you use a widescreen HDTV
For any questions or further information please let me know ;)

Added 2 tutorials:

Tutorial 4: Using Wiiflow FanArt Creator v2.0

The Fanart is a feature that can be used to add animated backgrounds in the Gameview instead of behind the game boxcover.
In the New WiiFlow-Mod with banner support a FanArt will appear as an animated background when a game is selected along with the tiny banner (on top right corner) - However in game settings windows the banner will show instead of the fanart. Full tutorial in Post 10

Tutorial 5: Wiiflow: From FanArt to Custom Banners

Is it possible to disable the whole banner stuff?
Maybe in the wiiflow.ini. I would like to have it as optional possibility.

For DiosMios the banner looks more or less very ugly.
So it would be nice to deactive the banner for the different wiiflow categories.

In general the whole banner insertion looks not so nice. (e.g. the transition between cover and banner, the flying banner over the settings, delete, parentel control button etc.)

Btw. wiiflow has some issues concerning dios mios.
Skies of Arcadia displays a blue screen. Same issue was in cfg loader.
http://code.google.c...es/detail?id=60

Furthermore is it possible to add the DIOS MIOS option to disable the Wii LED flashing during loading (like in dios mios booter).
Sometimes the Wii LED is annoying.

Get yourself some custom GC banners, they look great. Just look in abdallahterro's sig and it'll point you the right way.

Options are always nice so it would make sense to disable banners in certain views, like the emu e.g. Though my guess is Fix has already thought of that ;-)
