Mastershoes, you really should add a link to your new cover sticky in your sig. As i m reading this thread and learning about some of the new functionality of WiiFlow I am wondering about which art would look the best.

ID's? No not really, game names are good.
BTW, I just finished a first scummvm test rev :)

This one works a bit different as the ones before, wiiflow reads the game names etc from the scummvm.ini, you need to add the games in scummvm still, but can start them from wiiflow. I havent added something like return to wiiflow yet, test that please.

This might have been answered already but I'll step into the line of fire and ask anyway.

With covers for emulated games like NES and GENESIS, is the cover dimensions still based on dvd covers? Because old game boxes had thicker spines, and covers like the ones found at thecoverproject.net (which are scanned and cleaned up in proper dimensions) might look a bit squished if they are forced in dvd case dimensions.

Just copied the new scummvm files to plugins and launched wiiflow and didn't notice any difference.
Can you give us more info please (where to place the files, how to make the ini, what to expect speedwise.... etc) you know anything will help :)

Sure, you need to have a scummvm.ini from the emulator already. If you don't have one, then launch the included scummvm.elf via homebrew channel and add your games. You will see in the same place where the elf is a scummvm.ini will be created. If you have this file, copy it to wiiflow/plugins, also move the scummvm.elf into the folder as well as the scummvm_plugin.ini. Hope this helps :)

Is this for arcade roms or something, like mame?

googling comes up with scummvm.org. It is for old adventure games.

I've added a bit to my GameTDB to custom_titles.ini downloader program.

old link

now I've added the ability to import the titles and box colors you may have in any existing custom_titles.ini you may have. You can even use it to merge the custom_titles.ini from several WiiFlow installations by importing them one after another the information from each import accumulates.

more details later, gotta leave. Thought I'd post it while I could.
Another new version.

http://www.mediafire.com/?afcuy9ueurva1cd

I've added some tool tips so it will tell you what everything's for when you hover the mouse over it.
Command line options still work. Just use /? or -? to see the instructions.

What it does is downloads the "titles.txt" file from GameTDB (you get to select the language) and makes it into a "custom_titles.ini" file for WiiFlow.
You can have it add in the titles and cover colors you already have if you want. It can collect the information from as many "custom_titles.ini" files from as many previous installations of WiiFlow as you may have and add them in when it downloads and saves the new file.

Just save the "custom_titles.ini" that it creates in the "settings" folder wherever you happen to have WiiFlow installed.

You DO need Java installed. The source code is included.

Just finished work on wii64 mod, that was some bitch lol:
http://www.mediafire...za64lnz8el722ov
No return to wiiflow in it, scummvm also got no return function yet btw.
Not sure if it works fine, needed to modify a few things to get it to work with new libogc, same goes for scummvm.
Will this be a new n64 emulation or a link to the existing n64 emulator? As I understand it, the existing n64 emulator doesnt fare too well as far as emulators are concerned. Then again, I may be mistaken.

It's not perfect but it can play a lot of games.

Thats the existing one, you can use it with wiiflow, games autoboot, oh and I removed this annoying loading icon which sometimes comes ingame lol.

edit: also uploaded the wii64 changes in a patch file here. The app is pretty complicated so it could be I wont add a return to wiiflow in it, if somebody want to add it feel free to.

About to put a lot of time into sets like these.. provided they would be implemented at this size.. It'll be like real full boxart, just minus the "real" sidebars to maintain the whole "Wiiflow Feel". These are based on a set i got from seam, and was put together initially by nicklessguy. (You may have seen them featured in the "WiiTurbinado" youtube vid) The sets weren't very complete (mostly accounted for VC titles) and a lot of the art needs fixing, so I'm going to start pretty much from scratch. (Although I will keep quite a few in there from nicklessguy's set, a lot of them are very good.)

Sooo... FEEDBACK PLEASE. I plan on getting a little crew together, as this will take some time. I may try to put together a couple of "quick fix" sets while these are bieng put together, i'll see what i can do. But of course, this all depends on Fix94 & Crew and all of you. What do ya think?

Never mind the megadrive case/genesis spine crossover here... I'll make a megadrive spine. XD

You know, the nice thing about the first few emulators is that there already existed a modwith covers but it just occurred to me that wiimednafen is a good all in one emulator and I don't know for sure about the wii version but I know the computer version exclusively uses arguments to boot. It would add several new console emulations in one shot

edit : acctually, though, the GX emulators have a better GUI. They could be given priority if present

Fix or anyone - is there a list of all the emulators that you currently support and where to download them? It would be real nice to have a Wiki where this stuff is updated. Has anyone looked at that?

Yeah, I've spent that last little while fishing through all the last week of posts trying to find the newest mod of all the emulators and the latest revision of WiiFlow-Mod itself but I've had a really hard time finding the link to the custom banner sound INI demos. It would have been a lot easier if they were on the googlecode page or something

Edit : I finally found the customer banner sound examples [EDIT : oops, wrong link]. It was linked to on the GoogleCode site NOT the thread. (I knew I had seen it somewhere.
