ok im back with an update, well i seem to have found my issue and it was the number of games i had in my wbfs. 380 wii ganes 616 in wii ware and homebrew turned into .iso then to wbfs.after removing the 616 it loaded just fine.i tried all versions and they all seem t load very well.

on to new problems, i didnt not notice this in the thread but im seting up neek2o on a friends hdd (wd elements 3tb fat 32kb), now i tested it with a 4gb scandisc and it works just fine.so its not the mod or the wii. would it be the hdd it self not being able to load the files?

side note ive got to say i love how we get help on this thread i love the work and the help have a good day devs and readers

WD Portable HDD are oneof the problematic USB HDD that you will be dealing of in xNEEK. obcd talked about this earlier on this thread (cant remember what page is that).

Another issue is the sector size. The neek fat libraries expect a 512 byte sector size. Harddisks bigger than 1.5TB usually have a 4KB sector size.

ok so it is the harddrive then ill just tell them to take it back and get a 1tb and a 2tb see this is why i love this thread!!!!!!!

2TB will likely have a 4Kb sector size as well. I think the limit is 1.5 TB
It has to do with the maximum number of addressable individual sectors. (Not sure if 32 or 48 bit adressing is used.)

I finally found time to post my neek2o compatible version of wadmanager_gui on our google svn.
The sources are in the package as well.
The program should be able to install wad's from sd, usb and smb share on a neek emulated nand.
It should still work on a real nand setup as well. Just check the readme for that.
I dropped the latest wiiuse library in my libogc libs, so I hope it's compatible with the new wiimotes. (I don't have one to test.)

but I've been using wad manager channels on neek2o for several weeks and I made a post with 2 wad manager channels:

I know that those old files had some problems with some wads and you have to delete twice when uninstalling but otherwise work fine (I used to use ios58 foe yawmm & wadmanager1.8 autopatch ios at startup)
Is there anything new? tried it, great GUI. Can you make it start in SD "wad" folder by default bypassing the first screen? And can you add the option to install all wads in folder?

ntfs isn't tested.

Yes, this one (v1.52) works with new Wiimote as well as NTFS hard drive.

Since obcd is on vacation, perhaps another expert can help me tweak v1.52 of GUI-WM in the following way:

1. Make it use ios236 for real Nand and ios249 for emuNand
2. Make it start in SD "wad" folder by default bypassing the first opening screen (which has "browse" and "SMB" buttons).
3. Allow it to install all wads in folder without adding them to batch one by one. (just like MMM or Wiimod3)
4.Make USB init. faster (it's really slow)

I haven't tested it yet, but I assumed it was based off of Waninkoko's version for some reason.

I suppose it would be easier for those who don't want to fiddle about with either MMM or WiiMod.

Yes, it's based upon waninkoko's version. To my knowledge, MMM is not open source, so it's not possible to recompile it.
The main purpose was to have a version that works under neek and has usb access.
MMM works under neek, but it isn't having usb access.

Under real nand, you can add to the meta.xml file which ios the program should use. Under neek environment, it doesn't matter what ios is running.
If it run's under ios 236, it only has usb 1.1, and yes, mounting the harddrive is slow that way.
If you let it use a waninkoko ios. based upon ios38, it's mounting fast and it uses usb 2.0.

you should check out "yawmm", it's open source by cwstjdenobs and various other devs (Leathl, waninkoko, etc.). In fact, mmm's wad manager copied a lot of yawmm's code (which is one of many reasons why mmm should be open source, but that's another issue all together). yawmm offers faster speeds with non-38 bases like 56, 57, etc. It also has brick protection in place to prevent ppl from installing a stubbed SM IOS or uninstalling the system menu or SM IOS, installing out of region SMs, installing a System Menu without already having the correct SM IOS installed, etc.

Anyways, if you're content to leave your wad manager as it currently is, so am I, but I just wanted to let you know that the source for mmm's wad manager was basically copied from yawmm, which is open source.
