Yeah, here: http://www.minecraftworldmap.com/worlds/Ves4P

BTW, do you know that you can use NoClip Mode? If you press A,B,X,Y all at once, you'll enter in noclip. That way you can walk freely trough the map and find the blocks in no time

Because, i have to admit, i'm having some difficulties one finding some

But that's CHEATING !!!!

Mind you - I WAS going to post the fact that you are one sneaky B**tard....

....... I found out that one of the blocks I was missing wasn't either of the numbers I thought it'll be (for those who don't know what I'm talking about - you'll have to find my last post here) - FYI - it was the one without the 'swirly pattern'

Once I found that out - I guessed @ the other number & cracked the password for 'pass2.zip'
smileipb2.png
....... All I can say is 'nice bonus prize'
yay.gif
(I'm not gonna say what it is as not to spoil the surprise)

The problem is - I can't accuse YOU (or anyone else who uses the clip method) of cheating since I cheated & hacked the second password

Well, i think we have a "half-winner"
biggrin.gif

And no way, it's not cheating, is just that dicamarques wants to know where some blocks are, but i can't help him because i can't remember....so, by using noclip he will be able to find them...

I'm glad you like it, and btw, get used to it because i'm working on a new quest and it will be in a place like that...

And there's no need to take the quest so seriously
biggrin.gif

If you see that you can't find some blocks, well, noclip...
wink.gif

---------------------------------------------------------------------

So, as i said above, i'm working on a new quest, this time i'll use letters instead of numbers, and i'll try to do some new stuff....

If any of you have some ideas for the new quest, please, share with me

Difficult to build because I keep getting a guru mediation error when I try to destroy a misplaced torch. Fun little game though, keep at it.

Well - I've got a couple of ideas... but not sure if they are feasible in DSCraft (they are more 'puzzle like' than 'hide-&-seek') ....
I'll try over weekend to make some example maps to see if they work first (if I have time) & let you know

Maybe they'll work if done in the right way...but talk with me, send me your ideas by PM.

Hmmm thats bad.... ask cannonfodr maybe he knows some of the ones you dont know.
No chance of that - I've already said most I found just 'wandering around' - apart from 2 in 'water features, 1 down a ladder & 1 behind a door - I've got no idea where all the ones I found were

HOWEVER, If I knew how the map data is stored, & which hex number relates to what type of 'block' I MIGHT be able to use a hex editor to try & figure out approx where, but without a coordinate system it'll still be hard to say WHERE on the map they are

All I know is that I think the actual map data start @ ~0x00800 offset & from this point to the end of the map data is 8388608 bytes
(I assume this as there's a LOT of 'blocks' of hex numbers [03] all 432 bytes long, repeated MANY times throughout the map - which I'm guessing is either 'bedrock','dirt' or 'air')

I'm also assuming that 'forest.map' is 256x256(x 64 'high' from bedrock) = 4194304 possible 'block' locations, & by some weird reason 8388608 (bytes) / 4194304 (blocks) is exactly '2', which seems to support that there's 2 lots of info for each 'block location'

Not being a programmer - that's as far as I can get with this

Yeah, i can see that the location of the blocks is a problem....so, for the next quest, the blocks will be placed in key points, to make things more easier, and no more trees or "labyrinth like" tracks...

Oh, and btw, @ CannonFoddr, you're not done yet, you still have "some work to do" on your " new home"

Nah - was originally busy on my 'DSCraft' village but recently gone back to Minecraft [1.8.1/1.9Pre]
CannonVille.gif

FYI - pictures are of Castle Keep, Watermill, Inn, Barn (outside), barn (Inside), Water feature inside Tower (which is incomplete ATM)
Things to do (if I go back to it) - Dungeon/Windmill

- I was thinking on doing something like that, but, this time with letters, like a "word game". i'm still trying to figure out how to do it and what will be the best map and "environment" to do it.

- Oh, i see, you're doing an awesome job, that looks pretty good. But have you read the whole "read me" file? Your village has some treasures hidden

--------------

About the new quest, it will have a story...

I'm still working on it, and it will be like a "treasure hunt" but with a back story....

- You'll be able to find notes along the quest
