Apple Should i sell my Ipod touch and buy an android device?

Well I have a jailbroken iPod touch 4g 64G. Apple does not appeal me so much anymore(and even more after the factory story with the personal etc. So what next? I have €170 off apps on my device and well thats a lot, tigheter it makes a worth of 600 euro! :0(ac apdapter included) so I saw the xperia play; I do not know much on android; but should I sell my ipod? And for how many? My ipod is jailbroken as well...

Specifiqations:

Ipod touch 4th gen, 64 GB, all booklets, kabels included.
Extra ac charge thing from Apple
170 euros on apps paid(yeah really paid that much dirty)
Jailbroken with latest redsn0w.

Orrr should i wait a while so I have enough money to hold my ipod and buy an android device?(but I also want to have some badly expensive games for my 3DS as well.)

Firstly, I should say you shouldn't be selling you iPod cuz of the company's matters. I sorta dislike Sony's arrogance as well but I still have their PS3 and didn't sell it off! You should only sell off when you are seriously sick of it.

Secondly, I don't think you should sell a jailbroken device. Revert it first.

Finally, and onto topic, android has quite a poor game library compared to iOS (which is still really bad). So, if you want to swap over, you will expect new games (seriously different than iOS ones!) but not as well built. The games might also not last. There are still ports though like Angry Birds.

This is all my opinion. I have an iPhone 4 with two droids. I use my droids for normal use and only facebook (cuz the iPhone facebook seriously FAILS!). I am really bias in this post as well so please don't nail me...

How much you wanting to sell that iPod for? I am interested!

The answer to whether you should sell the iPod is like this: do you want to give up all the money you spent on Apps etc. for your iPod to buy an Android device and a large microSD card to hold all your music etc. Android is a lot more open and there are some good emus etc. on there. Plus Sony are releasing on PS1 games on it,aren't they? Specifically for that Xperia Play device (well other devices too but y'know BUTTONS!). You'll also have to spend a good deal on a phone contract or a lot to get a pay as you go version.

Was mostly kidding. My 3rd Gen iPod works fine though I wish I had an iPod 4th Gen (mainly so I could order a Peel 520 II) I don't really have any interest in buying hid. It was a one liner thing.

I would sell. Get a Nook Color then flash it to Honeycomb 3.0 or CM7 (2.3)
Only cost $250, which an android tablet with almost the same specs cost $500 (Samsung Tab)

Here's a video of it running on Honeycomb. Less stable than CM7 mod, but competes with latest tablets.

well coming from someone who had a galaxy s for 7 months then got the third gen ipod touch on the cheap i wouldn't be without either. but then again i don't have a camera on my ipod but then again i can't make calls on it either so the two i have serve seperate purposes. for me the internet moves way faster on my ipod too.

Well a second hand ipod will not pay you much and all the apps will also turn into a waste of money. So think about it and anyway the final choice is yours.

I'd say just keep the iPod. You've already spent so much money on it, and you'll never know when you might want that iPod back. Like, if there was one of your relative's birthday parties coming up, and you didn't know what to give them, give them that iPod that's been in that box in the closet that you haven't used for so long, right?

In my opinion, just get Native Messages and Phone app and Use SMS GV Extention and Phone extention to make calls/sms texts using a google acc. via wifi and use a tethered android and use it as a mobile router :0

Oh god no! Seriously, Android sucks ass compared to iOS. It's good for watching videos, or surfing the web, but it just doesn't stand up to iOS. I have an Android tablet and I rarely ever use it. I prefer my iPod Touch (first gen).
