I had that, I got advised (can't remember who by) to delete the contents of the cache folder and wiiflow.ini and it sorted it. That may have been incorrect advice, but it worked

Also a couple of the game are label wrong, wii fit= rvl wii fit, wii sport is rvl wii sport. How can I fix the name of games that are wrong?

I would really like to advice the people that are having problems with wiiflow to come to IRC, we can help you better and faster in the channel. When using mibbit to connect, please use a real nick in the channel

I have looked for this option, but I can't find anything about it, so i'm hoping someone here can help me.

I have WiiFlow working without a hitch, but since I also use UNEEK, I am playing with JoyFlow (a WiiFlow mod). Since my UNEEK setup is only for WiiWare, etc, I only need to see the installed channels section. Is there a WiiFlow option that will go to that section at startup?

Thanks

I've been away for a long time now, working on PS3 stuff, but have just made some progress on fixing the major bugs we had on the dev svn.

These changes have not been thoroughly tested, but seem to be more stable than wiiflow has been in something like 100 revisions.
I decided to "jump the gun" and release the dols for testing to the public, because it has been so long since our last update.

It is possible that you may need to do a clean install for these to work properly, but I didnt need to.

They can be found on This Wiiflowiki Page.

I have been hard at work progressing the ps3 scene lately and soon hope that pune and I have a working PoC for ps3flow. At the same time, I am moving across the country in a few days. Either way, I'll be keeping up with wiiflow as best I can (more now than I have been), but unless I start making some money doing this I'm gonna have to go get a job to buy my cigarettes xD.

Anyways have fun and pm me or come on irc to let me know your findings.

This may seem like an unnecessary request but is there any way to get WiiFlow to automatically download missing covers from WiiTDB when launched? I have modded wii's for 3 or 4 of my younger cousins (under 10 yrs old) and everytime I give them games I have to explain how to download the new covers when they go home.

As I was writing I realized another solution. I can copy WiiFlow to the USB HD and update the covers myself, but will that take priority over WiiFlow on the SD card? I am using "carbonik-Nforwarder58-WFBJ.wad" forwarder on all the Wii's, and they are running r304-224.

Thanks.

Edit: Also I just updated to the latest revision, looks great. I noticed that when you hold the left/right button to scroll quickly the sound does not occur for each cover that passes by the screen like the previous revision did. Overall a good release.

Edit2: Just noticed that when I click on a cover, the game's disc channel music does not play.

WOW, speechless mate. Very very happy to see this beta. Just tried it out and the coverflow is faster than ever, spot on job.
I tried an mp3 for music but it crashed it, will ogg perform better?
Something else I noticed was the covers populate a lot slower now, or seems to at the mo, I'm leaving it on for a bit see if its the cache building up or something.

Thanks for an update though mate, its great to see the project still alive

Committed and put the a new rev (346) on the same site.. This fixes some freezing when you have music on, and banners werent playing if you didnt have music. have fun.

just tested this rev, i have the banner music playing now but the cover flow transition sound is gone. also the click sound sometimes comes out as a burst of static, especially when there is a small gap between a previous sound event. i didn't experience this in r304, but did notice it in r345 as well.

I haven't tried the new r346, but I had also noticed the exact same issues as you described with r345.

Because of a lot of changes from rev304, it might be neccesary to do a clean install, which means delete wiiflow.ini and the ini files in the settings folder. And if that does not help, also delete the cache folder.

The issues that I confirmed with the previous poster was with a clean install. Not sure if he also did a clean install.

No I didn't do a clean install, just replaced the .dol. I tried as suggested by Etheboss but WiiFlow would freeze at the loading screen, so I put the .ini files back in the settings folder and my theme was messed up (some buttons were replaced by buttons from original theme). Gone back to r304 and will retry r346 (or whatever is the latest) later.

mmm, ok then...i guess, miigotu has read this and will take it under account with the next rev.

Too bad i can't confirm, i don't experience those problems...i can't say if it is before or after a clean install...i always do one just to make sure.

Hi All,

I am looking for a wiiflow forwarder with meta arguments support (I want to load wiiflow from ios246).

I installed the official starnight forwarder IOS58 based but it does not start the loader from IOS246. The loader starts fron IOS246 only if launched within HBC.

Is there a forwarder for wiiflow supporting meta arguments? I have found one which loads also CFG but I can't use it since I have CFG too...

thanks to all of you for the help...

wiiflow base IOS is achieved by compiling wiiflow for a specific IOS, so i dont think you'll be able to launch it with ios 246. The forwarder will be able to handle IOS 246 if wiiflow is compiled for ios 246. Maybe you can get someone to compile a wiiflow rev for IOS 246, come to IRC for support

Hi,
adding in the meta.xml file the following line:
ios=246
I can launch WiiFlow on 246 from the Homebrew Channel

The problem is that the forwarder seems to be unable to manage the meta arguments and starts the loader from 249

The forwarder of CFG, for example, manages the meta arguments very well... hence I was looking for a similar wiiflow forwarder...

I do not see the reason to have a different version of wiiflow for any base IOS... the users can simply change the meta arguments with this aim (like CFG loader)... on the other hand, USB Loader GX allows to select the base IOS directly in a configuration option...

Within Wiiflow you can also select a different IOS in the game settings....

Wiiflow however does not accept arguments afaik. (somebody correct me if i am wrong), only way to use a different IOS is to recompile Wiiflow.
