Within Wiiflow you can also select a different IOS in the game settings....

Wiiflow however does not accept arguments afaik. (somebody correct me if i am wrong), only way to use a different IOS is to recompile Wiiflow.

I know that every game can be loaded from a different IOS, but I want to leave cIOS from slot 249 and install it on 246, hence I need to load WiiFlow from 246...

From the HBC and with meta arguments I can already do it... It works... and Mugotu himself suggested me to do it... in other words meta arguments work from HBC...

the problem is that they do not work with the official forwarders in the wiki pages... hence I asked in this forum whether somebody knows a newer forwarder...

What about a UniLoader? I know its not Wiiflow specific but I don't think it reloads a specific cIOS just the .dol which in this case has a meta-argument to load cIOS246

Ok i had a bit of time to waste , so i've been fiddling with FIX94 forwarder's source.
I've compiled a dol from his sources (thx to him) , and injected it in my Orchid forwarder.
Here it is :

It is supposed to support meta.xml , according to the source's thread : http://gbatemp.net/t273165-forwarder-with-...pport?&st=0
It looks for apps/wiiflow/boot.dol , on SD , USB , FAT and NTFS partitions.
You need IOS58 installed to use it , otherwise it will bring you back to sysmenu.
It doesn't have a splash screen.

BE CAREFUL : i couldn't test it , so you should have priiloader or bootmii installed to prevent a stupid bannerbrick ^^
although it should be good , since i didn't change anything in the banner or the icon , only the dol

If it works , and you don't want the orchid graphisms , you can swap the dol in another forwarder with customizemii , or you can ask me and i'll do it for you.

I don't know how meta.xml works , and i have no idea where you must place this meta.xml file , so if you need some help with this ask in the forwarder's source thread

Thanks a lot... but unfortunately I have neither priiloader nor bootmii....
I am sure It should works, since the used engine should be the one of the CFG forwarder v9....

all of the forwarders in the wiki page should be updated in this light...

Luckily , i have both of them.
So i've tested the forwarder , and it works (well at least it won't brick your wii).
Btw i didn't test the meta.xml thingy , so it's your turn now ^^

Everything is OK and the meta arguments are correctly used... WiiFlow starts from 246 as stated in the meta argument...

very good job Benjay, this is now the better forwarder for WiiFlow.... maybe others could now use its engine to update the official forwarders in the wiki page...

Then i'll replace their dol with the one i used for that forwarder.
And i'll upload them back on the wiki page , but i won't replace the actual ones , because this one needs IOS58 to work , and not everybody has IOS58 installed on their wii

please, when you update the wiki page update also the release date of the forwarders, so that everybody can see they are new... don't forget also to say that the new forwarders have the meta argument support

Somebody know if it is worthwile to extract the dol files for use with priiloader?
If so, i will update those as well.

If you are speaking from the forwarder which is using my source, then yes, it works perfectly fine with priiloader since v9.
