QUOTE said:
Surrey-based online retailer GameGears has promised to honour its £194.99 pre-order price for the Nintendo 3DS.

Following yesterday's confirmation of a March 25 launch across Europe, retailers rushed to offer pre-orders with the majority asking between £219.99 and £229.99.

However, GameGears undercut the competition, and began taking pre-orders at £194.99, a price it has since promised to honour.

"If you Pre-Ordered 3DS with us at 194.99, we will honour this regardless if the price rises from Nintendo," Tweeted the retailer.

GameGears also promised that should the price drop it will charge the lower price.

Pre-orders aren't currently available, but will be opened again late tomorrow.

"3DS Update: You'll be able to pre-order from us at £194.99 price from late tomorrow, BUT be quick when we say GO as there's a LOT of demand," announced GameGears in recent Tweet.

Yes I posting this here, I think it is really important as alot of people are complaining about the price.

I've done my bit, now its up to the people if they want to go for it.

That seems quite a bit cheaper than all the others. But they might only take a few preorders at first for this price (the last line of the quote made me think so).

just to let everyone know i am having awful trouble with this company, bought something, didnt work, trying to get an exchange.
still waiting for my item apparently its been sent out, they took 3 weeks to respond to my original email enquiring about it, then a further 3 weeks to confirm it was a faulty product, that was over a week ago and still waiting for a new item.
absolutely not a company i would ever deal with again.

obviously up to whoever if they want to use them or not, just telling you my experience with them.

Thanks for the headsup inde. Always good to read people's feedback from these online shops. Your info "could" save potentials buyers alot of ballache. I thought the price was too good to be true. Asda have just put a tenner on their 3DS+game bundle, bringing it upto £229.97. I'm going to wait on and see if anyone will match the price with a better game.

It's farcical that the best we can manage, even when the retailer is massively undercutting everyone else is still $60 USD more than the equivalent US price. (£195=$310)

I almost thought, wow that's a bargain before i came to my senses.....i refuse to be ripped off just because of where i live.

Ocarina of time

Is the date real?

As of right now Euroland has not been given the exact details of what games will launch with the system. The US has 12 titles confirmed.

I'm hoping for zelda,pilotwings,SSF4 and steeldiver on day one.
