Yep, exactly that. If the choice between starving and eating was a little bit of hard work only the truly lazy would starve. We'd also all learn to become gardeners/hunters again so we could grow vegetables and eat. That kind of thing. You'd also see a huge shift in the job market. Jobs that pay a fortune now would of course be worthless. People who have kept old traditions alive, like gardening, hunting, classic forestry and that kind of thing would be the ones with the skills everyone wanted to take advantage of. For proof that man can survive pretty well without technology just look at the average Amish community. It's probably who we'd all turn to for advice if technology was suddenly made defunct.
