I'm only 30 or so stars in, and I'm loving every second of it.
is it possible to download a full save with it unlocked and transfer it onto my wii?Tagg7 said:No they didn't. 240 stars unlocks a new galaxy, that is all.XarcusEater said:No, Nintendo Power magazine said a special item or a third playable character.

Every since the 3rd special zone level of smw, nintendo keeps putting ***-ass extreamly hard levels in mario games. If it's not the racing levels with a fucked up track, it's levels were it's too easy too fall and die. Than don't get me started on **g 3d yoshi or the crewshroom. 3D mario games have always been near impossible to beat even with cheat codes. W/O them hell will freeze over. Nintendo took lessons from crapcom.

You just need to keep trying, learn the tracks and the best routes. I managed to get 120 stars without cheating at all or using any guides or advice and I'm doing the same with the next 120.
I don't mean this in a bad way, but I disagree with you. You're having trouble with it, but lots of other people have or will complete whatever challenge you're stuck on, therefore Nintendo can't have fucked up. If a large majority of people can't pass the race and it's part of the main game (so you have to pass it to progress to another world) then I would agree with you. Have you tried reading a guide or even looking at a video on YouTube?chartube12 said:PsychoticDust said:chartube12 said:I need a cheat code for unlimited time. I have those codes and there is no time code. Can't learn a track when i fall in the first 15 seconds! The point is if a single person can't beat a mario game w/o cheating it means nintendo did a fucked up job. This reason alone I stopped buying 3d mario games after mario64 ds.
Totally agree, other than SMW and SMB3 maybe...Naridar said:Well, IMO, Mario Galaxy has one of the best and sharpest control mechanism I've ever seen. If you die, that's your fault, not the game's. In this point, it's much better than any other Mario game out there (yes, including SM64).
I've had little problem collecting all stars in SMG1, with the exception of a few (daredevil version of Bouldergeist).
I'm at 48 stars in this one and have yet to see a truly difficult one (that art-planet's rolling ball time challenge cost me a few tries, but was actually pretty manageable).
Oh, one question: are there any daredevil challenges (1 HP) in this one?
i agree making a game harder doesn't make it more fun for me. i was also disappointed that there were only 6 worlds and they had plenty of space to add more they only used 2gb on the damn disc! man nintendo is getting lazier and lazier i honestly do not understand how all these review sites keep giving it a perfect score it only gets about 7/10 for me. i was actually going to purchase smg2 but after experiencing some of the later stages in it i have changed my mind.chartube12 said:3D mario games have always been near impossible to beat even with cheat codes. There are 7 worlds. I agree that they could have added more though based on the space they used... there are still alot of levels though. I love the game, but I wouldn't give it a 10. Probably a 9 for me. I would say 10 if it were more difficult, as there have only been two stars that have given me any trouble and I'm on 155 now...Bladexdsl said:i agree making a game harder doesn't make it more fun for me. i was also disappointed that there were only 6 worlds and they had plenty of space to add more they only used 2gb on the damn disc! man nintendo is getting lazier and lazier i honestly do not understand how all these review sites keep giving it a perfect score it only gets about 7/10 for me. i was actually going to purchase smg2 but after experiencing some of the later stages in it i have changed my mind.chartube12 said:3D mario games have always been near impossible to beat even with cheat codes.
