Gecko OS cheat function works for me in UNEEK, I've tested it in Cave Story and it worked. maybe you could try your game again with Gecko OS in your real NAND to see if it's a UNEEK problem or if the same would happen for the real NAND?
It does work on the real NAND, but in UNEEK Gecko OS gives me the "No SD card found" error. What version of Gecko OS are you using?
I used the latest GeckoOS, I also complied my UNEEK files with SD access (general and system menu) enabled.

I can't get GeckOS to read my a backup disc from my drive at all (in or out of sneek). Is that disc support broken in Rev19? I'll have to try softchip or neogamma next.

Gecko only supports official retail disks not backups because Gecko does not use a cIOS unless you install DarkCorp but Softchip and NeoGamma will be fine as they use cIOS

Well, that's the same setup that I have... I just don't understand how Gecko can detect your SD card but not mine.

I get black screen on all of my games but they show up in disc channel? Help?

are you using region.bin of your region? i had a similar problem with sneek di, the way i was able to solve it, is unplugging my usb drive in the wii menu and then click on the disc channel and click start after that plug the usb drive back again and that should do it. is tricky though, this might help you.

No need for alt dols, there is something different wrong for you.

Sneek+DI, is loading 4 wii games flawlessly from usb 4gb sd except WSR in my set-up. My console is US as well as the games. I used the discex2 to format file that is needed by DI. I also have a working sneek standalone and uneek. Anything wrong or did I missed something?thanks

How do you tell if your ciosx is working on SNEEK/UNEEK? I've 'installed' v19 on my sneek nand, but none of the apps I've tried so far would run on it... I'm not sure if that mean the installation had gone wrong, or if it means ciosx doesn't work on sneek?
Has anyone been successful in getting ciosx to work for them?

Yes, I'm using region.bin.
Do You mean press start in the Disc channel? Won't it just freeze up?

cIOS rev 18 and 19 work in SNEEK, but are of limited use. You can run NeoGamma and boot backups from disc. Last time I checked there are no publicly available USB loaders that work in SNEEK. To say that cIOS "works" mostly means that apps which load cIOS do so successfully (whereas in revisions prior to 18 they would hang).

Which IOS did you use? I'm using UNEEK and when I tried a network installation of 249, 57 and 38 all with 57 as the base. 249 did nothing and 57,38 downloaded the content but returned error -106 at the installation part.

QUOTE(Kovani @ Feb 26 2010, 10:25 PM) It took me a day to figure out a way to store Rock Band 2 DLC on an SDHC card, because I have a problem downloading songs with Sneek (am I the only one?). Steps are time-consuming, but it works. If you are curious on how to do this, here is what I did. I'm pretty sure there is an easier way to achieve this, but anyway.

1. Download your songs from the music store and save them to your non-SDHC card using your real NAND.
2. Use DLC packer/unpacker (Google it) to unpack the .bin files from your private folder of your SD card. You should now have .app files.
3. Put them on the right folder located on \title\ 00010005\________\content\ of your NAND dump.
4. Use Sneek to launch Rock Band 2 and enjoy!

I didn't have a chance to test Guitar Hero 5 DLC. I'm not sure if the DLC tool will unpack .bin files correctly.

Or just download straight from nus, then run through decrypter and you got the app files. Got a 8gig SDHC with 700+ downloaded songs (complete first 3 gens). I had issues downloading dlc in sneek even with sd enabled

I followed these steps and the Songs show up as downloaded when I visit the music store but they do not appear anywhere to play?

No problem. The only disadvantage is that you'll have to jump through some hoops to switch between games until the built-in menu in SNEEK is fully supported.
I can't wait for that.  I just got sneek+di working great under a 4.1u.  It sure was easy now that there is crediar's sneek installer and yso image converter.  I used The Conduit as a test and it loaded in the disc channel and played just fine.  Even online.  What was as much easy was to install darkwii extented theme by simple replacing a file from the nand dump (/title/00000001/00000002/content/0000007b.app).  I wonder how this "gui" will look and work.  I just hope it's not involving a ngc controller.

Has anyone tried UNEEK with a music game that requires a USB mic? Set this up with a NAND with the 20 free DLC songs on Rock Band 2, using the newest build, installed via the SNEEK GUI Installer.

The game loads fine, and recognizes the songs that I have downloaded (according to the music store portion). However, the USB mic is not detected, whether I have it in when I first turn the console on, or when I plug it in later.

I'm pretty new to the UNEEK stuff, so I didn't want to file a bug report before I was sure if it was just me or not.

I've got (clean versions of) all the IOSes installed, including IOS37, running with a legit RB2 disc, and the microphone definitely is 100% functional (aka, it works when not loading with UNEEK as NAND).

SNEEK doesn't need specially patched IOSes to install content, so you can choose any IOS in the installer program. I chose 36.

I've installed rev18 with 38, and rev 19 with 38,57,60 and 70. I've only done it in SNEEK, not UNEEK, and I used a 4.2U NAND made from scratch (no prior cIOS installed).

You can always do it in SNEEK and then transfer the NAND to your USB device to run it with UNEEK.

I know this might be a foolish question and I've already successfully run Sneek, Uneek and DI.
My question is can GC games run on Sneek+DI? thanks
