Hacking full brick wii

hello everone,

my friend has a wii with version of 3.2U and only homebrew installed.
it is an old wii of 2 years ago.

6 month ago he bought wii sport resort but in PAL version, and by mistkan did update.
after finishing the update and turn on the wii again he got black screen without health screen and nothing else...

is there a wau to fix it. i forgot to mantion the he has a modchip but i dont know the kind....

i will apprciate your help

yes, if his modchip can autoboot and a game with a newer firmware. Then he can save it. Or if he have Bootmii or Priiloader.

he dosent have preloader or bootmii... and how can i know if his modchip has autoboot?

open it up find out what chip he has and then go from there. cant really tell u anything else since there are so many different modchips

Try it, there is now other way to see if autoboot is enabled.

@hai_haifa : has your friend ever did a downgrade from 4.0 / 4.1 or 4.2? If yes then it's a full brick... normally the situation you describe doesn't cause a full brick, there is something else going on with your friend's wii...

Your 3.2U got updated by Wii Sports Resort which I believe contains the System Menu 3.4E update!

Use a NTSC region disc that contains an update higher than 3.4! To fix the problem!
(Don't know what discs contain said update!)

Use the savemiifrii method (google it!) to run the disc in the rescue menu and update!

lets say that he need a miracle...
i have wii with bootmii as boot2....

but it is too bad for him.. because he can also have bootmii as boot2.... becuase he have old wii....
