Guys, THERE IS A FRENCH VERSION OF THE ROM OUT ALREADY.

It was leaked a few days before the US version, but didn't have a dumping team.

If you check romulation, it's right below the USA versions on the download list.

So maybe this guy is really onto something.

Not at all. I'm also French, so I'm actually playing on the French rom. it suffers the same freezes as the US version, and the patch he has given is not for the French but for the Jap version, which was (partially) translated into French.

No. He's playing on a Japanese version translated in French... (Bad english, sorry guys)

Yeah we all know it ! It's a miracle that the French version of HG was released a few days ago. But the Rudolph's Patch don't work or we have to rename the nds file into a specific name like "xpa-phg.nds" ! Even if, after many tries it definitively can't be patched !

Too bad...

As fair as I know, Mazda! has already tested the "patch" on the french version which was more or less at the same time out as the us version.

But I've got a question, if you compare the french version and the us version, are they the exactly same ones or have the french people something different to the rom the the americans?

I'm going to shut up now. I thought people were saying there was only a translated version, and not an actual French Rom.

I don't know if this has been suggested before, but can't someone look into the firmware of Acecard and figure out why the game isn't crashing for them?
Or even look into Supercard DS one's latest EOS firmware and try to figure out why it would crash later than most other flash cards?

Maybe if you can figure out why it doesn't crash on Acecard, the same thing could be done for other flashcards?

I'm starting to think that it might just be an outdated firmware problem...not taking away that there might be something in the code that makes it crash, but perhaps some people just need their flashcard developer to release an updated firmware for the game to work without any problems.

Like some PSP games need an update in order for you to play them.

I think someone has already sad it you can't just look into the formware because its encrypted.

i have absolutely no expertise in this ok
but like.. instead of trying to bypass the AP code and make it unworkable, why dont you just make it not needed as in like.. convince the code that you are actually a legit DS and not using a flashcard?
i have no clue if what i just said made sense or if its already been suggested
