Depends on how you want to download. If you want to download via HTTP, check out jdownloader.
With torrents, go with uTorrent or BitComet.

I use Internet Download Manager for regular downloads and Jdownloader for the multiple files on Rapidshare and some other filehosts like that.

I download from megaupload alot so i wanted one with good speeds somehow i got 6MBPS with jdownloader this weekend but now the speeds are about 50kbps

free download manager works with megaupload very well i get speeds around 200kb/s-400kb/s

i usually use downthem all on firefox but i recently found this chinese download manager that managed to download 800kb/s

called xunlei (mind you it has loads of random popups but it ok

can you pls help me w/ this.. when i'm trying to download from megaupload or even rapidshare or any other direct downloading websites, the net says that i'm currently downloading something that i'm really not.. w/c means that i can't direct download anything at all even though i'm not downloading anything from anywhere.. pls help!!
