Right now, I'm basically putting the Gold definitions into Heart Gold. There won't be any NEW Pokedex entries added, but the two patches will have different Pokemon descriptions, just like the original GSC.

This won't have inaccurate definitions that are C+P'd from Platinum, like every other HGSS patch. However, it will have accurate descriptions, C+P'd from Gold and Silver. C+Ping definitions from the original GSC is accurate because Kanto and Johto Pokemon have the exact same definitions as they did in GSC. And by exact, I mean exact, not a word changed in the original Japanese.

So basically HG uses the original Gold definitions for Kanto and Johto Pokemon and SS uses the original Silver definition for Kanto and Johto Pokemon. This is why C+Ping from the originals is okay, but C+Ping from Platinum is inaccurate.

I've found that Hoenn Pokemon also use their original RSE definitions.

that a really good idea. I got the old Gold version which works on my SP. Its would be very accurate. i really don't think Nintendo would really change the description of the Pokemon.

How about you just use Serebii.net since they are a the top of the page and the pokedex are in perfect order.

at a guess... yes, do remember that so far, wataru's patch is the most complete and furthest along.

I really hope that Yaymii person doesnt steal WataruKun's job by "basing" his low-quality patch with the hard work Wataru has done.

So Mr. Yaymii dont even think about it. Stealing other people's work is the most cheap thing ever.

As I stated, I'm NOT stealing text from WataruKun.
He gave me permission to find lines of text using his patch.

I did? Well, anyway, yeah, it's alright as long as you don't steal text.

I myself can read Japanese, so I just type the text up in a program that can type Japanese, search for the Japanese text, then replace it.
