about time i made a comment i think... nothing big...

Actually, your comments are not necessary. Thanks for trying, though.

Despite what bullshit you want to come up with, nobody posting in regard to the original topic has an inclination toward cheating. What has been posted in the first 18 or so pages speaks for itself.

The fact of the matter is, you're late to the game and nobody cares what you have to say. This moral high-ground you're trying to take doesn't detract from the fact that you're taking an offense to something that's doing no harm. Now, you have the same choice that was given to GEMISIS: Stop harassing me or be reported. Anyone, including Skizzo, has the right to do the same if they feel that this thread is hurting them in any way.

It's as simple as that.
What are you? Like 12? Enough with the crybaby bullshit about harassment. And since when in the fuck do you speak for everybody? There goes your arrogance once again...you don't know what I or most of the other people around here care or do not care about, so stop pretending you do. The fact you feel it is necessary to even respond to these types of posts AND whine about harassment, indicates you do care.

And for the record, I don't have any problem with the thread or its intended subject. I just find your whiny, arrogant attitude to be a bit over the top. You might want to consider learning how to just ignore that which you would claim not to care about. That's how most people do it.
laugh.gif
You're acting like the guy who claims he's putting someone on ignore but he then goes on to respond to things that certain someone has said that were never quoted by anyone else. Busted.

And if you really must complain about something, make it all the dumbasses who come in and say "I can't be arsed reading the thread..." and then go on to ask/say something that's already been said multiple times. That would shorten the thread quite a bit.

Now, if you'd rather I not 'harass' you any more, leave my fucking name out of your whiny, arrorgant rants in the future.

if anyone cares/didnt already know, after you beat every mission (you can use "auto win"), All Weapons works in single player and no longer causes a freeze. It might have something to do with having at least one promo code activated, cause I activated the three known ones too.

Either that, or the promo unlockables are enabled after beating the game.

In any case, I've looked through as many variables as I could possibly find, and it seems to hit a dead end. Once the files get unpacked, we might be able to do more.

Until then, /thread.

So there is no way to save your changes on the cheat_debug (presing the - and +)..??
huh.gif

not really, not an easy way, they aren't meant to be saved, they're (obviously) meant purely for testing.

for example, the net monkey debugger is meant to test collision for boundary violations (ala superjumping in halo)
however, net monkey isnt very useful if you keep dying from all the enemies killing you while you look like a retard, so, "badass"
"binocular shooting" is there so they can make sure the firing calibration for weapons is as accurate as can be even on weapons without the scope.
"jet pack" is probably just there for extra collision testing, I dunno, but Im sure no one wants you flying out the level, however you would manage that.

interestingly enough, the "one hit kills" which is called "power...something" (I forget) in the actual in-game cheats, activates the same flag as the one you turn on in the +/- menu, and maybe saves it (I believe). not really surprising, just interesting.

its likely that most of the cheats are loaded only into ram, with no place in the save file to save them if you wanted to. I mean, it is pretty small right? Is it even more than a block or two?

Couldn't the debug cheats be used\Saved with wiird codes, that way it would be liked their saved.

edit: Or make a wiird code to atleast access the the debug menu without ever hacking the disc. so it could atleast be used on a legit disc. or is this already possible?

just some ideas

Thanks for replying to my ambicious need, now I wonder where does this menu is coming from..?? the main.dol (if there´s one)..??

All of the menus are actually Flash layouts that get interpreted through the ScaleForm engine. They are entirely contained in one of the GCM/GCS archives on the disc.

If someone was able to unpack the archive, we could do a lot more with the game.

Good idea.

I don't know who to ask to get it done, though. I wish WiiRD worked over WiFi.

Is anybody trying to unpack the archive or has an idea how to do this?

I need to start playing with this again. I so wish I had another Wii so I could try to see if LAN play works. I'll be reading the thread to try and see what hasn't been done yet. Everyone else ought to do the same, that way we don't do things like test out the Classic Controller ninety times.

I have two Wiis and two SD cards... I'm just extremely lazy to set it all up.

Alas, I guess I could do it for the sake of everyone else.

As far as the Classic Controller goes, I updated the first post a long time ago -- it's just up to everyone to read it.

I posted a couple pages back that I got the classic controller to work. Guess nobody saw that one

Movement with the left stick works, but the buttons and right stick don't.

I suggest collecting the test results, ideas and progress in a wiki page for The Conduit.
This would make everything clearer, you see what is tested and what not.
If I am allowed to, I prepare such a page, I just need a place for it (e.g. the GBATemp Wiki or Wiibrew.org).

GBATemp is probably a safer place to put it, I'm not sure how Wiibrew would feel about a page with this stuff in it.

I just created a wiki page: http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/index.php/The_Conduit
It is very confusing and scrappy (and my english is not good), but I am to tired to improve it.
So now everyone can write his test results and progress down and I hope we can do a lot with this game!
I think I will improve it a lot the next few days, so that this page gets clearly and informative.

Feel free to change and extend it!
