i spent the best part of 10 hours tring to get my lacie 350 gb ext harddrive working with usb loader 1.5 pretty myuch gave up in the end ,kept getting the ret-6 partition not found error i just put it down to harddrive not compatible ,but i thought i would check out the ultimate usb loader 7.4 just to see what it looked like ,i thought nothing to lose try my hard drive wow worked first time no worries at all ,why is this i thought it was based on the 1.5 usb loader .
Hacking anybody having trouble getting there harddrive working seriously need

im guessing your hdd isnt supporeted. or, maybe your partition is screwed. i use acronis disk director to make partitions. it works
like a charm, every time. u should check it out.

try a high end format utility such as partition magic and format your drive its more likly to work if you use say partition magic to format the external to fat32 then use the PROGRAM ON THE WII usb loader 1.5 to patition the drive...IF the usb loader 1.5 app itself cannot format the drive you might try using a PC app that can format it to WBFS such as HowardC's WBFS Manager
