Hacking Update to 4.0 on a Jp Wii

Hey guys,

I've tried searching, but I can't find a straight answer. It seems people say not to use anyregion to update, but I found this site with a method here http://www.yafaze.com/wii/4.0updateguide.html

I know method 2 says don't do it on a JP wii, but what about method 1?

Also, when I install the WAD and go to update like normal, do I have to turn off any options in my Wiikey?

Hah That wrong!!! I know cos i used re changer on my daughter jpn wii to 3.2e, Ran the updater, It installed 4.0j giving me a semi brick!!!.

So i just downgraded back to 3.2e keeping all the ios
