A positive review for ModChipCentral and Sylvester there.
After many days of deliberations and no responses from some sketchy sites, I placed an order with MCC for a WiiKey v1 (this was before the v2) pre-soldered onto a WiiClip. Order was filed promptly, and a week later I had my chip. I installed the chip and it would not work. I brought it up here in a topic, and with no fix, I contacted MCC. Sylvester had me run through some troubleshooting items until it looked like it was, indeed, the chip having problems. I RMA'd it and asked if I could swap for a different chip (I was getting a bad vibe on the WiiKey from posts here).
He tested the chip bad, swapped it out for a D2Pro at my request, and a week later that was on my door step. Plugged it in and it's working perfectly.

i have put in an order with modchipcentral, and they were very good about processing my order instantly, and shipping next day. a tracking number was sent by email for canadapost.ca. it seems that the package has left canada (for USA) however, when i enter the tracking number on usps website, it says: Origin Post is Preparing Shipment. the status has been like this for about a week now. should i be worried that my package has gotten lost between canada and usa? anyhow, kudos to modchipcentral for shipping next day, i know this is out of their hands (cant do a complete review as i still have yet to recieve my order)

I am having that same issue it seems. It says on the canada one that it's in the destination country then on the usps site it says Origin Post is Preparing Shipment.
Is that normal? I know sometimes they don't update for a while but it's been a few days.
NEVERMIND: I got mine in the mail this weekend. Nice going to install it tonight!

I am ordering a mod chip for our WII. I had already scene mostly good remarks for modchipcentral around the net so, I thought I would try them. My only issue now is trying to decide which chip to get. I have a D2E. Out of the newer chips the ones that seem to be the most popular are D2Pro9 V3, Wasabi Zero, Wiikey2, and D2Sun v.1.5 with on/off switch or Version 3. I have heard that several have some issues with the eject function. I was leaning towards the Wiikey2 but, I have scene in this listing where several people have had issues with them. Any advice.
Even if you order the D2pro9 presoldered on a Wiiclip, isn't there an extra wire that still needs to be soldered. I thought I had read this. That was the only thing holding me from getting this chip. I have heard the WIIkey 2 has problems with the eject on the WII. The D2sun I have not heard many issues with. I also have no heard any issues with the Wasabi zero.

Slow to respond to email, and no phone number to contact.
the plus side was they had it about 10 bucks cheaper than anywhere else, and when it did arrive, it was well packaged, and came with appropriate cables, and a tri-wing, still would've liked a mini phillips, but can't complain at that.

3- To take homebrew, what hardware i must to buy?
for now, i must know what chip (europe region) is the best to run all homebrew in wii.
btw, is easy to install a chip in motherboard? or i must be a master mind in computers?
With Bootmii did i need a chip?

Drive runs like a top - very quiet, huge improvement over the previous drive - zero problems, everything was exactly as promised.
Price Paid: $70, no tax, +$9 expedited shipping via canada post

I ordered from off a site called ioffer ....auction type site most these guys are in hong kong. Thought I was getting a drivekey, but got a xenowii version 2 for 34.00 total. I was upset at first, but since I only deal with ntsc, it has worked with *many* games and only a couple eject disk errors(tiger woods 09). Theres no menu to mess with and Im way happier than when I used HBC. Very easy to install too....no soldering needed. So I will have to give it an A+
