I was thinking about all of the new handhelds that have been coming out and I had a thought. Would it be possible to replace the cpu chip in the lite with a snapdragon processor from a phone? Difficulty aside, I'm curious if it would even be able to work with the lites board. I'm just wondering if anyone has any insight into this, it would be an interesting project and cool way to revitalize the lite if possible.

No. Drivers are designed for the specific SoC. Without a decomp of the Switch's HOS, there is not much chance that somebody would be able to port other drivers to it. Plus, the Switch uses a custom graphics API, that would probably not work with other SoCs without extensive work.
