The old site that used to host the user-created music files as well as the tool to inject them into the save file for Daigasso Band Brothers DX is gone, as far as I can tell. Anyone have the music or the tool? All I have are my old save files from back in the day that have some old anime music on them.

I don't know what site you're referring to, but have you tried looking for it on archive.org ?
I managed to remember where I found the tool (the same page you used to get ysmenu for R4 at, actually), but since it's only available on Web Archive, here comes a couple problems...

1. The tool's download link? Deader than dead. I can probably get around this by looking on decade old GBAtemp threads, possibly...
2. The site links two pages that used to have music could use that tool to insert into your save file. One of them, the download links are completely dead. The other wasn't archived properly, all I get even through Web Archive is some sort of growth diary blog that looks like a Lorem Ipsum template. Neither pages exist on the web now.

So, while I have the original sources here, I ain't actually got the tool or the music to download.

Did you ever solve this? I've had the same issue lately, but with the original 2004 DBB game.

What you're looking for is the Degausser tool, which you can find on GitHub. The current version, last updated in 2017, actually removed DBX support "temporarily", but never added it back. You can still revert to the previous commit, compile the tool, and get the functionality back.

No promises, but I'm working on trying to develop a web-based SAV editor for the 2004 game, because I ran into the same issue of piles upon piles of broken links that were missed by the Internet Archive. I EVENTUALLY found it after several weeks of scouring the internet. Perhaps I can incorporate DBB DX support as well.

I have degausser and bdx tool from ye olden days.

BDX Mega pack 2.4 (includes degausser)
Degausser+BDX Tool (unsure of the version, so I uploaded both)

Edit: I think that mega pack contains music from the site that had bdx files (99% were password protected, for some stupid reason), I think I have some laying around but I'd have to find them or extract them from my save.

Edit2: some more backups and other songs
