How to get rid of annoying youtube ads/product stickers?

Hello fellow tempers,
Recently, I started getting these annoying stickers that take WAY too much space on youtube shorts

Is there a way to get rid of these? I already have Ublock Origin installed.

Use the regular player instead of the shorts player? I never use the shorts player on PC.
If you have Tampermonkey (or Greasemonkey) you just click on Raw here to install the userscript https://github.com/makise-homura/wa...watch-youtube-shorts-as-normal-videos.user.js
Or use "Enhancer for YouTube" or similar addons which can do the same thing and more.

I just block the YouTube Shorts modal, and they're gone forever.

I don't understand the trip of saying "just stop watching shorts" but that's far from being helpful.

Apparently they don't show up if you have the comment section open. Or so people say.
The downside is that you then see the comments.

I've used a uBlock Origin filter called "Hide YouTube Shorts," this will attempt to hide them from search and YouTube channels. https://github.com/gijsdev/ublock-hide-yt-shorts

But what if you click on another video from somewhere else and it comes up as a short? Well, if you have TamperMonkey or its forks, you can add this to convert the links into regular videos. https://github.com/makise-homura/wa...watch-youtube-shorts-as-normal-videos.user.js

Forcing shorts to play with the regular player should do the trick.
