Remove or update whichever app uses 00FF0000636C6BFF as ID, located in atmosphere/contents folder?

EDIT: sys-clk, perhaps?

Unfortunately not sys-clk, but found the culprit: Tinfoil. I will look into alternatives, as the new self install also throws the same error, but glad I made progress

Hi I have the recurrent little problem with some of the latest game released: it ask me for an update ( of the game in question) but there is actually none available or it already installed to the latest version....
It's just a notification but it's annoying each time to make sure to not press the wrong option...
I tried to "restore initial value something" with goldleaf and FBI cause I saw in some thread that it can remove them.but it doesnt seem to work anymore with the latest atmosphere versions, it still ask for it each time;
So any idea of what to do now? Thanks

please

Hey, I need help.
I just tried to install games with dbi but it wont work. They just loafd forever and on one game it says that micro sd data is damaged. My firmware is 22.0.0 . I read that you may have to downgrade the firmware? Also, I included updates in the download but it still didn't work .
please help

Tried backing up the atmosphere and bootloader folders and getting the fresh Atmosphere, hekate, sys-patch and DBI? Not really sure what may be the issue, to be honest. If some of the data on the microSD card is damaged, maybe your SD card is failing? I had to eventually replace the SD card I got with my Switch when I bought it used. It started randomly acting up, freezing games mid-game and corrupting my save files.

I just set up the switch with everything on the newest version so it wouldnt be the problem. Some also said it could be a problem because of the cable. And the nsp files run on ryujinx so they also aren't damaged. so the sd card being damaged is possible. But its a official nintendo sandisk. im confused... is it because i didnt eject the sd card properly:rofl2:

so for some reason??

this set of cheat codes for guardians of azuma won't load?

i got it in the right folder and have done this before

Tried with another cable? Can you reinstall one of the games with the latest version of the DBI and sys-patch running on your Switch and take a screenshot of what it says on the screen? If everything installed without an error I doubt that the cable is faulty.

I've been using SanDisk Extreme for a while now and had no issues with it. Not sure if Nintendo licensed microSD cards are any better. All microSD cards can fail over time and sadly the only way to check that is by running the h2testw and see if it'll run into an error.

Maybe. The only safe way to remove it that I know of is if your Switch is turned off. Maybe there's an option in hekate as well under USB tools, I can't remember since it's been a while.

[I'm still on FW16 I think]
What do I Iose in terms of sys-module (and other homebrew stuff like themes) when updating to 19.0.1 (24MB memory) vs updating to 18.1.0 (40MB)?

I also use triplayer sometimes to play music in the background, it hasn't been updated tho, so I dunno if it work on FW18.1.0 and above.

I dunno if I wanna update to the FW20+ versions... I'm just planning on using SAK to play something like Tomodachi Life (tho I've yet to see if that even works, I've just seen some people mention that for patching). I think I also kinda remember something about it being fine as long as I update sys-patch or something, but I dunno how/what recent games are working on older firmware (is there like a website that lists backwards compatibility status after patching?)
Haven't been following for a long while now so I'm not even sure if I'm making any sense lol.

It just come down to how much memory you want for homebrew and sysmodules, newer games with game update sometime doesn't work on lower firmware like 18.1.0, the higher firmware you go the lower amount of memory for sysmodule and homebrew though 20.x.x and 21.x.x have 14MB

Would 19.0.1 be a good middle-ground?

That is a decision you have to make on your own, I mean you would have to go higher firmware if patching a game or game update doesn't work on the firmware you are on.
I guess there's only one way to find out.
Tho, is there a website or compatibility list somewhere that people contribute to regarding patching newer games for various older firmwares?

(also, how do I merge replies like what you did above?)

Haven't really seen a list, I mean it is okay to update to higher firmware if you don't use a lot of sysmodule at once, you can check how much memory you are using and decide what to do, but firmware 20.x.x and above has it own problems.

As for merge reply, if you reply to multiple people post before someone else it get merged.

These others don't seem merged so I guess it only happens once?

Oh damn, FW20+ has other problems? Is FW19 and below more stable?

If I quote two of your posts before you reply back it get merged.

Yea firmware 20.x.x and 21.x.x have battery draining problem that can be fixed with couple lines in the atmosphere config files, due to the new EULA that the system constantly trying to accept causing battery drain, as for other people for firmware 20.x.x and above there is slow down for home screen apps when you browse the all apps section. 21.x.x homebrew had to recompile for it to run on 21.x.x, there is a thread dedicated to that.

I got an RCM clip and modded my Switch 1 as soon as the Switch 2 came out, but then I decided not do anything with it yet because I worried about doing something that get my account flagged and get my Switch 2 bricked so i wanted to wait until everything was figured out, but now it's been so long I don't even remember how to do anything or even the open CFW.

Currently, I want to know how to open CFW again and how to update it. I also wanted to know if there is way to move a manipulated save file on a modded Switch 1 to Switch 2 cleanly.
