you should be able to go back to the release minute now. it will also confirm the seeprom i am building you should work

Okay, well, I wrote the re-crypted SLC.
What does "flashing DDI from mcp_recovery" entail?

So if I understand right

Disable pico
Get the CAT-R updater and dd it to SD card
Power WiiU on with both POWER and EJECT
evoila?

Hm, well, I don't have a computer with a serial port anymore, but I guess I could get one (which would be cheaper than the USB cable - unless you can put two of the FT232 USB to serial converters on each end?)

For now just getting this to work would be more than enough.
Not sure if I can find the required images for this, but I guess I'll try.

Would be excellent, thank you.

It does get into this menu if I hold POWER and EJECT, so I guess it's ready to do the thing.

I did.
It fails to get extracted by wfs_extract, complaining about wrong wfs version.

I _would_ really love to see what's on there, so if you have other suggestions on how to dump the files or extract this dump, I'd love to try them out.

If you can send me the dump and the otp I can take a look on why wfs-extract fails to handle it. (For start I can work with the first 0x2000 bytes as they suppose to have the wfs header)

well, here you go. it should have the correct crc32 and be encrypted properly
Hi. I have disc drive error 160-1400.
I try Set SEEPROM SATA device type —> No device, and then i have:
seeprom: bad AA55 marker! 0000
SEEPROM failed to verity!
(Check your otp.bin?)
Hardware params calc: 973d546b sroted: 973d546b
Primary boot1 params calc: 608cdc79 stored: 20b91000
Secondary boot1 params calc: 77f7c83a stored: 20b91001
Decrypted boot1 versions: v8377 (20b9) and v8377 (20b9)
SEEPROM failed to verify! 0x1000 and 0x1001

boot1 version cannot be written to SEEPROM without a valid otp.bin!

Can you please fix my seeprom.bin and otp.bin?
