"Sonic The Hedgehog 3" movie receives its 2nd official trailer

With just a few weeks away from the final release, the third outing of Sonic The Hedgehog which debuts Shadow The Hedgehog (voiced by Keanu Reeves) on the big screen got its second trailer released today.

The trailer kicks off with the heroes hanging around in a Chao-centric place, with people in Chao costumes dancing, before getting attacked by Eggman. The trailer also shows more about the plot of movie, which seemingly will take a lot of inspiration from Sonic Adventure 2, giving some emphasis on Gerald Robotnik alongside Eggman (both played by Jim Carrey), as well as some scenes that showcase what could possibly be the ARK Space Station, and the iconic scene of the ARK blasting the moon. Other games from the franchise are also referenced in this movie, like Shadow riding a motorcycle and a gun, being a nod to 2006's Shadow The Hedgehog.

"Sonic The Hedgehog 3" releases officially on theaters on December 20th, 2024.

They gave him a GUN!! :D

But jokes aside I'm confused on what Robotnik role's gonna be here, because the first trailer looked like he was gonna be in the good side, helping Sonic (At least setting him up as a twist villain later with the whole him receiving the quill, hence the theories of Metal Sonic being in the film) But this trailer shows him being a main villain from the start through the end

I'm predicting that Gerald will eventuly double cross Ivo and we see an adaptation of Last Story, given the film is an adaptation of SA2, probably somehow have Gerald as the final boss instead of the Biolizard.....although I'm guessing without having the Ark shoved up his arse.

Thinking about it, I wonder if they'll include Big Arms somehow?

I think the biolizard might still be in this movie, it could be some kind of attack salamander thingy

The hype is real, gonna have fun at the theater watching this with my bros even tho we're a bunch of dude hitting the thirties...

I hope they make a sidestory TV show but this time not a crappy one like the knuckles one (man Knuckles deserved more than that weird crappy stuff)

So happy for Sega, I hope they can turn their brand into some kind of media empire, earning billions. We all love Sonic and all the other Sega IP. We all want remasters and ports and reboots of all their games.

Honestly hoping the gun isn't just a fancy prop LMAO. My #1 wish-list expectation is hearing a "I Am... All of Me" motif somewhere along with more "Live and Learn", ngl. I'M SO PUMPED!!
