A new update for Cemu has been released. Though it is still currently in pre-release form, this 2.4 version fixes a few bugs, including one that did not allow users to skip dialogue in certain games. A full changelog is available to read down below. If you're interested in trying this new build, you can grab it through Cemu's official GitHub repository, with versions for macOS, Windows, and Ubuntu available. If you're interested in grabbing the most recent full release, that would be version 2.2, which came out on September 8th of this year.
  • Added emulated Dimensions Toypad
  • Fixed a corruption bug to could occur when reading from titles in .app/.wud/.wux format under rare circumstances
  • Cemu will now validate all reads for .app/.wud/.wux format titles and log any detected errors to log.txt. In the future we will also show these errors on screen
  • Reworked the Wii U error dialog implementation (ErrEula) for better accuracy. This should fix the bug where sometimes the error dialog was unskippable in some games
  • Fixed a bug in the HLE implementation of proc_ui.ProcUIRegisterCallback/ProcUIRegisterBackgroundCallback

Everyone else here talking about CEMU getting canned or not.

Listen finally having another way to play LEGO dimensions is amazing for preservation, and those who played it as kids who now can experience all the levels and secrets without paying like 850$

Cemu is neat, let me play Xenoblade Chronicles X again at full 60fps a couple years back. It's also still the best way to play BOTW (which is still a better open world than TOTK in my eyes) since it takes significantly less resources than the two forbidden ones and looks just as good.

They just never gave a damn about Wii U, I mean you could play backups online with it no other console ever allowed that except Dreamcast or PS2 I think.
marketing was the downfall of the console, though the console itself is very impressive with the stuff it CAN run on it via emulation and or homebrew, though that aside i do think nintendo did care as they had a balance of really charismatic and directs that the personality the company then is almost non existent now, now the poor choices outweigh the good ones and i feel like that's why alot of people are hesitant to support them as it's now a smorgasbord of things they're doing wrong now
