My youngest got me into Beyblade X this year. I purchased my first two beys last night but she can't play with her stadium set until Christmas 🤣. I had no clue that the game had regular tournaments with sanctioned rules. The more you know, right? 🌈

My only exposure to Beyblade is the intro:


I was already too old for Beyblade by the time it reached the US. When I got to college, people were into Pokemon and even Yu-Gi-Oh, but no Beyblade.

I always thought Beyblade got buried among all the other Pokemon-esque experiences, but I guess it carved out its own audience.

Yeah i remember beyblades back around 2003 we put razor blades ,flint Stones (they would give some nice Sparks when they clash against each other ) and Spikes on the weight disks

And the best Parts you could get where from chinese/arabic bootleg beyblades especially those big round weightdisks would make your Blade Spin forever
