Whatever you do, don't use Firmware 19.0.0. That shit stopped my current build of Ryujinx from working yesterday. Wtf was Nintendo thinking releasing that useless garbage, lmao 🤣🤣🤣.

Some Ex-suyu devs are working on their own fork of Ryujinx called Kanijinx.

So much for wanting to move away from Switch Emulation... They accused Yuzu team (and later the Ryujinx team) of using official SDKs for the emulators and had been chatting shit about Switch Emulators ever since they'd left suyu, the Yuzu accusation had some backing but my god they were cocky af

I was involved in suyu until very very recently, honestly what a shitshow that was, it was a complete waste of time

Using that Greendev fork of Ryujinx and V10 firmware+keys and its working perfectly fine on my end. The fork is also constantly getting updated. Ryujinx itself was NOT taken down via DMCA so Nintendo has really no legal way to go after forks of it unlike Yuzu where they lost in court/settled out of court. Nintendo went and "bribed" the Main Ryujinx dev to split and take his stuff with him.

Aren't the "issues" more realted to the actual switch such as battery drain instead of applicaaitble to emulation?

Like I said ZERO issues with Ryuninx and v19 firmware for me. So yeah I don't know what they are on about it not working with Ryujinx

All Switch emulators (on PC that I'm aware of) require the firmware to be installed in the "registered" folder designated by your emulator of choice. Iykyk, not trying to derail the topic.

As I said No issues with GreemDev fork of Ryujinx and as I said it shouldn't get DMCA'd by Nintendo as they didn't DMCA Ryujinx itself just basically"bribed" the HEad Dev to step away and take his work with him. Unlike Yuzu where they can legally DMCA forks of the project

And as I said those issues are strictly related to the phsyical hardware and doesn't really affect emulators like Ryujinx so the firmware is fine to use on emulators not actual hardware at this point. I can't test 19.0.1 as there is apparently no download of it on the usual places that I have seen and I checked after posting in this thread the first time.

NOT saying there aren't issues with the firmware as there clearly seems to be BUT that those issues don't effect emulators
