Ubisoft has delayed Assassin's Creed Shadows

Originally due out in two months, Ubisoft has decided to delay Assassin's Creed Shadows. Part of the reason for the delay is because of player feedback from Ubisoft's other recent release, Star Wars Outlaws, which garnered lots of negative reception for overly difficult stealth sections, which Ubisoft's Massive Entertainment has been tasked with patching post-launch. The company is hoping that the extra time to polish the game will make for a better overall game, and will lead to better sales, as their recent output has been disappointing, commercially, according to a recent financial report. Assassin's Creed Shadows is now due out on February 14th.

Knowing Ubisoft, they were probably retarded enough to think that the "one legged" Torii" was always like that for over a thousand years. And I "like" linking Wikipedia articles so much? I only linked Wikipedia once in this thread.
It was definitely a mistake. They deserve ridicule, but nothing past that. I can guarantee that the same people claiming malicious intent in Ubisoft are the same ones that would defend anything posted in /r/accidentalswastika to death from the "offended snowflakes".

my bad, this thread became a flame war almost instantly so i kinda just glanced over most of it and saw you and wikipedia links so i just made the connection
And this is why this whole controversy is pointless and shitty. People don't feel like taking your side because of all the dumbassery running about. And I personally have a lot of history with Japan and it pisses me off seeing fakers pretending to be offended over nothing on behalf of others.

Isn't February "Black History Month" in the US? And Ubisoft is delaying this game, featuring a very controversial black guy, to February...real subtle, assholes.

Lemme guess, if this game expectedly bombs hard next year, you (and "journalists") are just gonna label us as "racist" for not supporting a game with a black guy in Black History Month. Sooo predictable.
