So first of all, yes this is a weird question. But i'm really curious about it. Also for information, i'm also looking for something similar for the 3ds, but I felt like it was even less possible.
For the context, I own multiple CFW Switches for different purposes, and I also use emulators (trying to keep the lifespan of my Switches the best I can, because wow my first one is dying), so I came with that idea when I was working on something to sync my emu saves between my consoles and my other devices.
Since the saves on the Switch aren't tied to the cartridge, is there anything possible to tell the console to load a game from a basic external save rather the one located by default ? That way you could setup something to sync your saves on all Switches and devices as soon as you open your FTP ?
I have to admit, it's not a common request, but I also feel like it could open the door to many interesting things.
