The article is vague on the actual situation and the individual however... Who exactly was the "victim" that recieved a payout and for why?? Victim of what exactly as there were no threats or anything related to that. Why jail time and not just confiscate it?
Will he wake up in the jail and be told he's on a quest to save the Princess?? Too many questions here!

Anthony Bray is a repeat offender with a long rap sheet and numerous prison sentences, several of which were for burglary including serial burglary. In 2011, Bray was convicted and sentenced to four years in prison after getting “three strikes” for burgling residences. His run-ins with the law go back to 1989 and he was in court numerous times throughout the 90s as well.
Also, the blade on the replica had been sharpened and he was in fact carrying around a 10 inch knife.
