Plug your switch in to a pc ( I assume its a lite) I bet it detects as in RCM mode. I know because I did the exact same thing to mine
edit: I'm sure it can be fixed but it probably requires removal of the Emmc and doing trace repair

I have same issue with black screen. Did you just reset from Full stock? Already tried that but didn't help.yes master, i did restore boot0 and boot1 at this moment ofw running good. thank you very much

layout complete. I need a name for this thing then i think i'll spin it out into it's own thread. Now that a future self updating capability has been revealed i'm going to stick with the concept of breakaway USB with it reconnecting through jumpers as USB wont be used all that often.
If anyone has naming suggestions i'm all ears, I'm not very creative when it comes to naming things haha
Thanks for the feedbackIf I may:
- please ground the two outer pins on the cpu flex (not absolutely needed, but good practice)
- why through hole pads for the emmc lines? It’s easier to attach 0.1mm wire to a “test point” than first fill the hole with solder and then attach.
I’m afraid that if someone can’t solder to decently sized test points, they will absolutely trash the emmc points on the motherboard. Thanks for the feedback
the outer pins on cpu flex are actually grounded, it might just be hard to see in the picture
Through holes prevent pad ripping with poor soldering, although i see what you mean about making it harder. Maybe i should put SMD pads on underside and connect with vias? as a bonus this would make it even smaller
I'll finish modifying the design and show you, i'm not great at explaining things sometimesI’m afraid that if someone can’t solder to decently sized test points, they will absolutely trash the emmc points on the motherboard.
The smd pads on underside — not sure what you mean. Would you then solder on the top (on the via)? I guess that would work too.
I like the name McFly too, think i might go for thatMcfly
Minifly
NXfly
Flybye
Z-fly

You are of course free to choose whichever name you like best, but to make it identifiable, you should consider for it to include both "pico" and "fly".I'll finish modifying the design and show you, i'm not great at explaining things sometimes

I dont want to muddle the naming of my project with the picofly firmwareYou are of course free to choose whichever name you like best, but to make it identifiable, you should consider for it to include both "pico" and "fly".
If Picofly-Mini is too simplistic for your taste and you like Mc, how about McPicofly?
Mine is .6, if you use the bc2 it should hold plenty of solder for everything but the anchor points.I have the bc2 but might pick up the I tip or something a bit smaller, originally chose the bc2 to the more contact for drone boards.
Can anyone recommend what solder wire size to use? I usually use 0.7mm but might get be a bit big for this
Yes but I rather not Edit a news articles nameThank you!
Is it within your power to fix this one, too? https://gbatemp.net/threads/new-maj...kofly-nintendo-switch-modchip-project.628960/
Awesome work, thanks!McFly board now has it's own thread https://gbatemp.net/threads/mcfly-an-rp2040-board-compatible-with-picofly.629024/
Which is so much better than $100. I expect to see kits within the month of April probably.I'm not sure @rehius ?

So the most expensive part for me (aside from console) was the flex which was $15 then $15 shipped. But pico zero was 5 bucks, so depending on region 20-30 if you have everything else
Not sure if you know, but kiosk need a special version of atmosphere if you have the correct pi firmware.
once this one is tested I"ll upload to my aio thread.
Get the blood flowing before soldering, reduces shaking hands.im just running up and down nude on my street
Ooook, it seems, the current OFW support solution is not perfect. Will be changed in v2.6
Currently you can use "Full Stock" option from the Hekate, same OFW.
From there you can do a full system reset to fix BOOT0
