i was trying to format my new sd card which had all the homebrew apps and i formatted it it and i just forgot that i put all of it in there.Now i don't know how to recover all my files

What didn't work? Are you trying to restore files lost after the sd formatting? The guides above are supposed to get your system up and running with the necessary cfw files, dassit.
For file recovery you might wanna try your luck with some file recovery program, but i honestly don't see any benefit (and you don't need to) unless you are trying to restore save files, though it's still a complicated process (if we're talking about encrypted / saves that weren't backed with Checkpoint) and with low success rate (what the software might salvage might all be corrupt)..
Can you get to the home menu at all? The guides should work unless you're on A9lh (which you should've mentioned).

Or, I also heard that if you use flash memory, it can act as more "RAM" at least windows tell me when I stick a flash drive into it. -
