Never heard of Beboncool before. I've only listed controller I've explicitly added support for. Any controller not listed that works is working because it's a clone of something that's supported already.Mission Control is awesome. It works great with my ps4 controller. It also works with my Beboncool B01 bluetooth controller even though it is not on the controller list.
What do you mean with patches to pair xbox elite controller series 2?Never heard of Beboncool before. I've only listed controller I've explicitly added support for. Any controller not listed that works is working because it's a clone of something that's supported already.
For some time now, releases have included .ips patches in the /atmosphere/exefs_patches/bluetooth_patches/ directory. These are binary patches that get applied to the code of the bluetooth sysmodule at load time to change its behaviour. Some controllers, like the XBE2, can't authenticate properly with the vanilla bluetooth code included with the firmware, so it needs to be patched to fix the issues. These patches have been present ever since XBE2 was officially supported, you're only hearing about them more prominently now as I omitted the patches for 15.0.0 from the 0.8.0 pre-release so that people could continue to use Mission Control while I worked on them. What do you mean with patches to pair xbox elite controller series 2?
This controller is effectively the elite version of the series X|S controller. These use Bluetooth LE, which is not currently supported. The xbox elite series 2 core is not working yet.
Do you think it will be compatible at some point? This controller is effectively the elite version of the series X|S controller. These use Bluetooth LE, which is not currently supported.
Yes, I have it working as a proof of concept but there are a number of issues I haven't found a solution to so far.Do you think it will be compatible at some point?
Yes, it can be done. There's no need for these combos to apply to official controllers. The main reason it works like this is because I wanted to have all input modifications handled in a single place for all controllers. I'll put some thought into how to handle this for the next release.Any chance of mission control getting the NES joycons to not take a screen shot when pressing Down + Select? Not even sure if this is in the same realm.
There is a Zelda 2 trick that requires you to hold Down and press select during the normal speed run route (see Fairy Claus).
Yeah, it's a Mission Control feature intended for controllers that don't have enough face buttons to map home and capture buttons. I applied it to all controllers for consistency, and because I originally thought it would allow pressing both of those buttons from either joycon. Turns out that doesn't work though because there is some filtering of unsupported buttons done by the hid module. For this reason it's probably better to just remove it, as it is of no benefit to official controllers.oh dip, is this not a normal feature of the joycons and a mission control feature?! i figured it was the official behavior.
and just a suggestion but maybe put it on a timer? like hold R for 5 seconds on the NES joycons = home
The controller is switched off when you put the console to sleep, docked or handheld. You can also turn it off manually by holding the PS button for long enough. I'm not aware of any function to automatically turn off just the controller after some time of inactivity has passed though.Nice app perfectly working with dualsense.
Just one question how long does it take to put the controller(ds5/ds4) to sleep in dock mode 1h or never :X?
So no chance to cut that 1h sleep mode in dock ? Guess i need a second dock station for dualsens near my TVThe controller is switched off when you put the console to sleep, docked or handheld. Oh, I didn't realise docked mode only allowed a minimum sleep timeout of 1hr (just checked). I think this was probably developed for your purpose https://github.com/znxDomain/ControllerSaverSo no chance to cut that 1h sleep mode in dock ? Guess i need a second dock station for dualsens near my TV

Maybe I'll consider integrating a similar feature into Mission Control.
