They're probably unaware of the status of me and whatnot but I never really engaged with them at the end of the day. I don't like getting notified on email regarding drama within the gaming related channels about non gaming topics on the forum, and the moderation really needs to get a good look at.

I would very much rather focus on social medias and forums that I don't have much issues with like this one :)

well outside of the obvious nIntendo slander and whatnot but I too have some reasons to go against AAA companies
it's shocking to see that actual tech YouTubers are using this site. I can't think of many on the top of my mind, but I still find it interesting to see this happening and whatnot.

Given the amount of useful resources here as well as the shrinking number of active forums, I wouldn't be so surprised
What's the difference between Static Recompilation and Decompilation again?

With SM64 being decompiled, you can pretty much break the game to your liking. Can it be the same as games/programs that are recompiled?

I wished games like The Legend of Dark Witch were to get it's source code leaked

Also Dynamic compilation can refer to a language which is compiled AT EXECUTION time.

Re: WiiMart, as far as I know, the only recurring problem with [insert game store here] revivals has been that Nintendo/other company went after them and they had to take them down.

Outside of a raid mentioned on their website, I'm not aware of any issues, however I am yet to really try it out on a real Wii... but I'll make sure to

How the hell do you make an AI Powered AD BLOCKER????? You were almost 100% to being the best Chromium Mobile-based browser to even be the new Kiwi with Chrome Extensions on Android, but WHAT do you mean by "AI-based ad blocker???"
    DragonMals
    DragonMals
For now, I'm going to resort back to using Firefox on Android. I really wish that Gecko was better than Chromium at literally anything but there's just so much specifics that I have to follow that it gets really annoying to dodge certain stuff and whatnot

How are you even surprised, the AI bubble is still swelling, of course companies are still joining the bandwagon

And it's funny, unlike some genuine "AI" use-cases, rule-based ad-blocking is already very effective, slapping "AI" on top would yield little improvement if any at all

I'm just wishing for this gigantic bubble to pop cause in the midst of them trying to get AI to be number one, they're also doing things to hurt consumers such as removing uBlock Origin and whatnot. Yeah lite is there but there's some Ads that I want to remove off sites and lite doesn't allow that at all..

I hate when this shit happens, where they re-upload stuff to Discord that gets deleted after hours of being up.

What makes it worse is that Discord invite links can be set to expire, and if they do, good luck ever finding one that works - the admins will almost never update these links on other sites, because why would they keep track of them?
Plus, if the Discord channel ever goes down for any reason...tough luck, once again.

People should just post mods to GBAtemp or Nexus or GameBanana, or just G Drive or something - a service that's reliable and well-known, not obfuscated and shady.
Found another ancient 2014 GameCube/Wii Flash Drive with the NAND looking quite funky... I don't remember the NAND being in a folder!!!
So I have a bit of a problem with one of my SanDisk SD Cards. I noticed that it was running my Raspberry Pi Unit horribly, and when I decided to format it using the imager to then bring it to Linux to benchmark it, it is inconsistent with it's read speeds. It didn't even show the other red line that I usually see from this!

Have you considered that the reader is faulty? In my case, that was the reason I had unexplainable issues. Since I threw it in the bin and used the other one I had, I had no issues!
Managed to put all of my Wii games onto an HDD. I noticed that when entering the final laps on Dolphin, it lags a bit but isn't too detrimental for I am a casual Mario Kart Wii player. Why is that? Will this happen on a Homebrewed Wii?

It would just be much faster overall compared to DVD or HDD.

I guess it wouldn't really matter since these are more than a decade old games that were made when HDDs were still the norm in consoles. I don't plan on playing much games on Dolphin since I have a physical system to play games on that still wokr.

It does sound like a slow read issue. Linux caches files in RAM, look into vmtouch or loading files to ramdisk. Wii games aren't very large, so you can have the entire game sit in RAM for instant access. If that doesn't help, it's probably a different issue.
so you review silly retro adult games is that it? didn't even know there was such a thing..

I think for the sake of my sanity and for interests, I'll stick to what everyone likes the most. retro games galore. I'll only dive into THOSE kinds of games if I'm ever wondering WHY people play them....

Trying to make a better web button this site. Does anyone got any reccomendations?
    lightwo

Yeah, the font is too thin, I'd say.

Also, please refrain from LCD antialiasing, either don't use it or use greyscale AA. More often than not, the former has fringing on any screen type.

Personally, I took the lazy approach for linking sites without buttons, if you want to see it on my site: https://lightwo.net

LCD Antialiasing? There's a bunch of stuff I didn't know about Pixel art that I didn't even know about! xD

I did check out your site, and yeah I can see what you mean. thanks for all of the suggestions

LCD antialiasing is what most OSes set by default, it uses colours that are the closest to corresponding subpixel in an LCD array. Looks horrible while zoomed in, often doesn't even look right on LCD screens, and is a horrible choice for pixel art. The more you know ^_^
man the world has changed dramatically to the point that my website went from having so many places that I was on to just GBATemp, Steam, Retro achievements, Twitch, and the Terraria Community Forums.

what I got rid of? Twitter, Bluesky, and RetroGameTalk.
Annnd the HHD is now finished. Was thinking I might format it to FAT32 and use it alongside my Wii. I wonder how that'll work and whatnot...?

Testing it now with Nights: Journey of Dreams. By disabling SD Card Mode, USBLoaderGX registers the HDD, and I'm dumping my disc of it onto there, and after a good while, it should be done and done. Hopefully this works cause I could honestly migrate everything I have in terms of my dumped games from the 128GB SD Card onto the 250GB HDD.
