    I swear I don't think I would be interested into keeping into this Linux realm for a while. Until a bunch of circumstances occur, I can't find any practical use of me sticking to Linux even for college reasons. I just find it nothing but a hindrence seeing how there's some specific features from Windows that I use on there that can't easily be done on Linux and stuff.

    Especially for the use case of this college laptop. One thing I wish I never discovered was CrystalDiskInfo since that tells me a rough percentage of the integrity of the SSD/HDD inside of my PC. I think because I've done something wrong on Windows where it used a bunch of unnecessary data to check if my PC is in good shape, it gotten the SSD in here from the 90s to the 80s

    Flatpaks are, for all intents and purposes, native Linux applications. There are instances where I actually prefer them over something installed from say Pacman or the AUR.

    That being said, Linux is definitely daunting. Especially with its varied flavors and distros. I'm kind of in the same boat, I find myself bouncing between Endeavour and Fedora at least a couple of times a year. Can't see myself going back to Windows full time, though. It's become such a shit show.

    I tried searching through google on bing search and it tried mocking the Google search in an attempt for me to think I'm actually using Google.... I can't believe they're able to get away with this everywhere but not in the European Uniion. I wish I can move there I swear

    Yes. The DSpico is the flashcart that's open-source and can play DSi exclusive games & HB natively on the hardware. It only works this way if the flashcart has the WRFUXXED exploit flashed into the firmware.

    I just had to witness someone in a comments section of a YouTube video I've watched say that they had to use AI to detect their specs in their PC.

    I literally know a website that does exactly this without using AI LOL

    Did a little benchmark of the new 2TB SSD that I gotten and holy SMOKES I just started it and it went WILD like this.. .I have a non-functional USBC port on my Gaming laptop that I WIIIISHED that I could fix becuase I don't like how my less powerful college laptop has a functional USBC port but it can't take full advantage of such

    Decided to change my system from Windows 11 to Fedora Cinnamon/KDE to KDE Neon because for my college laptop, I want to make use of how debian is more supported by everyone more than fedora/arch. hopefully I don't need to abandon this in the future for when I get to the Game Design portions of my degre!

    I finally modded the vWii of my Modded WiiU and I can't even use the same HDD with my Wii contents on there. This is sad.

    You could use an SD card instead if it's big enough, there are possible compatibility issues but I haven't run into any. It even works with SDUSB Minute plugin, so you could use one SD card instead of any HDDs at all, either for Wii U or Wii mode.

    As for HDD issues, you either need a FAT32 or ExFAT partition, you may need to edit some settings in USB Loader GX or another loader of your choice.

    in another fourm, having profile posts set to one hour is troublesome and their reason is to "prevent spam." meanwhile I am here and the rate limit is feasible and there isn't any spam. I don't understand why the other can't have a more tangible rate limit like this one.

    Question: Is there a blog site that I can use other than BearBlog to embed images? I've been meaning to make one because it seems like less hassle to do it all on one side without being tied to GBAtemp.

    I don't know personally. In fact, Bear Blog is the only one I found when I was on the great search for finding Blogging sites afterards. Bear Blog does have a lifetime subscription though of around 100 dollars, and considering the person who owns the site, I wouldn't mind giving them all I got.

    Talk about a site overhaul! Thanks to someone in a Discord server that I'm in, I was able to get the page for my Guestbook onto my main website and whatnot. Gaming Reviews will still link to my Bear Blog, but this is good progress!

    I sometimes look back at some of the things I said on the internet, and sometimes I wonder how it's even me saying them in the first place. It's like at the moment on when I'm typing I know i'm the one who said this (obiviously), but for those that are like... Months ago, I stop to think "I said this?"

    My father gave me his New 3DS XL (with Ambassador contents) and I was wondering how I'm able to bring my New 2DS XL contents over to that. Both are modded.

    The only way to do it properly is a system transfer, though you'd have to use their NNID on the new console to access the files. If they're both modded, you may as well just install the ambassador contents as CIAs. There should be tools to dump them assuming you want to keep things relatively legitimate.

    Last year, the Galaxy Unpacked provided absolutely nothing to the table with the S25 Ultra and when I actually gotten ahold of the specs compared to the S24U, my point was proven. If I have to see the same advertised pointless AI features and barely any upgrades to the S26U, then I might as well forget about Samsung and find another Android OS to use

    just learned that the privacy display thing is a half hardware half AI integrated thing to the S26U.

    I don't know why you need AI to detect banking apps and shit when that could be hardware encoded or something like that

    Just buy a privacy focused screen protector if you really need it. Using that as a selling point bothers me. Much like the anti glare starting with the 24... I always put a screen protector on day 1, so it doesn't do anything for me..

    ....aaand I was proven wrong... There are features on the S26U that are enticing, and with the privacy feature being hardware/software? Screen protectors aren't an issue...

    But... The price tag, especially for the higher tiers, is a bit much.
